Hi there, My name is Sally and I run a free range egg farm in Esperance. I supply eggs to the cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within the Esperance district. Egg farming can be hard yet rewarding work. I am passionate about working with animals and love nothing more than living life on the land. I am looking for people who are interested in experiencing the day to day running of an egg farm. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I hope to be able to provide helpx workers with a new cultural experience of farm life in rural Australia. Duties include collecting and grading of the eggs. Feeding the chickens and general farm hand duties. There may also be some cooking, cleaning and gardening. Helpers are required for 4 hours per day. Own bedroom(s) and bathroom provided and all meals. WFI available. I also have three dogs, three horses, a cat, goats, cows and of course a lot of chickens! Anyone interested must also love animals.

We run a small organic (non-certified) market garden in the beautiful town of Pemberton. It is a small town (population around 1000 people) We are lucky enough to be within walking distance of the town centre, and also walking distance to many local natural attractions (the glouster tree, the pemberton natural swimming pool)

We are still in the early stages of growing so still need lots of help digging up grass, creating vegetable beds, running retriculation, pruning, creating raised beds etc so there are lots of varied tasks.

We have a yurt (mondolian tent) for helpers to stay in, with a king bed & a queen bed so two couples could stay. The Yurt doesn't have it's own bathroom yet unfortunately, but does have a dry kitchenette & bar fridge so you can have space to yourself!

We have a freindly dog & cat, as well as 3 bossy ducks and lots of chickens (free fresh eggs)

We have been lucky enough to have travelled a bit of the world and love learning about new places and cu... more inside

We are a small family - two parents and a beautiful 2 and a half year old boy. We also have a couple of very friendly cats. Our place is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Fremantle, 10 minutes walk to the beach and close to all amenities. Fremantle is a great transportation hub and has an amazing live music, cafe and arts scene. Our house is 110 years old with high ceilings and a chilled out vibe in a friendly street close to Wray Ave. We've just finished renovating the interior and are about to start work on the garden.

Simon is an artist, Suzi is a writer and Finn is a raconteur and explorer. We are also enthusiastic vergeside collectors who try to salvage things from other people's rubbish before it reaches landfill and to rehome it. Our home is calm and gentle and we are open minded and down to earth. We minimize single-use plastics, compost and recycle what we can, use grey-water safe cleaning products and eat organic where possible. We are pragmatic about those choices and ... more inside

Hello, I have a hobby farm five minutes from the sea side twin towns of Dongara and Port Denison, which is 350klm north of Perth and 60 km south of Geraldton.
