Alex and Elisse are looking for one committed, hard working helper or a couple for the period of one week. In return for 5 hours contribution per week day, we offer you extremely comfortable, warm accommodation, home cooked dinners, and your own mini retreat at Dreamfarm.

We are seeking work both inside the building and out in the fields. One of us has an injury at the moment, and would appreciate the assistance.
Outdoor tasks include working with newly planted seedlings (preparing guards and distributing mulch), weeding, and animal care (chickens). Indoor tasks primarily involve cleaning. Depending on your skills we may also include some indoor painting or basic outdoor construction (for the animals). We will go with the flow based on the weather - outdoor when the sun is shining and inside when it's wet.

Do you love nature? what about off grid living? How about great food and great company? We need your help with our dream. We are located in a gorgeous mountain/ bush setting, totally off grid. The work is different everyday as we hope to teach many things to our fellow travelers. We want to hear about your experiences, and learn from you as well. We want to share our experience in alternative living with you not just have you come and work. We are relaxed people and like to work 4-5 hours per day, some in the morning and some in the afternoon. We need help with cob making, bottle brick making, rendering, gardening, landscaping, horse care, harvesting and much more. Such is the life on a property in the bush. You can sleep in a tent, a tipi, or a hut. Camping space is also available. There are amazing bush walks all outside our back door. The weather is changeable; hot to cold, rain, snow, sunshine could all happen in a day. No experience necessary, just your creative loving hands. W... more inside

Hello my name is Angela and I am the person searching for someone suitable to take the following position and opportunity.

There is a beautiful property 40 minutes North of Hobart that requires a lovely person (mature female preferred) to live and work on the property. Lee is a severely physically disabled quadriplegic man requiring care and he and his father are offering two different scenarios.

First scenario is a lovely self-contained accommodation, next to the main house. It is fully renovated, one-bedroom, completely private bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Second scenario is a nice private bedroom inside the main house, shared bathroom and shared kitchen (toilet and bathroom will mostly be yours except for occasional use by other carers).

The property is 20 acres, mostly paddocks but around the house is a couple of acres with amazing gardens and water features. There are sheep, chickens, and a cat called Sophie!

They are looking for someone more long-term, minim... more inside

Our self contained cottage is available for some helpers now! It would suit a single, a couple or two friends.

We have a fruit farm just 25 minutes from Hobart, and grow cherries, peonies, quince, pears and lots of berries.

Autumn and winter is a quieter time on the farm, and we would like some help gardening and cooking and house cleaning. It is the spring cleaning we didn't do in spring!

Our farm is 5 minutes from the historic village of Richmond, which is a little village with shops, post office, bakery and convict built bridge and old buildings.

We are a relaxed, friendly couple with 2 daughters at University, chickens, guinea fowl and a sheep dog.

There is a bus service to Richmond, and we also can pick you up from the airport or from Hobart.

Thank you and we hope you have a good visit to Tasmania.

We live in the bush in the city on a cute and very sunny spot on the Sandy Bay Rivulet. Our home is only 2 km from the centre of the city but hidden in a valley under the mountain. We are surrounded by walking tracks and close to lots of things to do.

We are keen to offer home stay to meet people travelling and to generally get some help with some domestic gardening, vegie and fruit trees and some fence work.

It would be a relaxed environment helping as a second pair of hands on these tasks. We have a couple of different bedroom options depending on the timing or a very funky retro caravan option.

We are a mum (social researcher), teenage boy (grade 11) and we often have an international student at the moment from Brazil living with us too. We are a home that loves food and conversation.

Let us know if this sounds like your idea of experiencing the real Tassie life. Available immediately and at a variety times so please contact us soon.

We have 2 co joined houses on the property, we live in one and the other with 2 double bedrooms is vacant. I'm hoping to meet a couple or single that know about gardening and are happy to do 4 hours work a day, in exchange for room board and occasional use of my car.
Our family is vegan, we have a 3 year old, 3 crazy little dogs, 6 chooks, 4 geese, 3 drakes and 10 guinea fowl. We love the quiet life and we love growing all our own food and want to expand the range of fruit and veg that we grow.
