We do not need any more helpers until March 2018. Happy to take requests for next year
Helpers look after the hostel keeping it clean and tidy in exchange for accommodation and food. We are in an isolated location so people must be comfortable with staying on their own on occasions. A friendly personality and GOOD SPOKEN ENGLISH is essential There is some outdoor work to be done tidying the garden, trimming hedges and clearing leaves. Ballyeamon Barn is a small hostel in the Glens of Antrim, Northern Ireland, near Glenariff Forest Park, 8km from Cushendall, 18km from Ballymena The owner is a professional storyteller and we hold music and storytelling sessions at the barn. Owner speaks German, French and a little Spanish.

See picture of the barn and the owner below.

She just need some more company; to go swimming, Cycling, walking on the beach, in the local mountains, at the gym etc. Father is an author and works from home. We live on a farm just outside the town 25 kms from Belfast on the east coast and 120 kms from Dublin - the Mourne mountains can be seen from the house and we visit a lot.. Several beaches close by and we often take picnics/walk/ride in the summer..We live in an old untidy 5 bedroomed house and we need help sorting out 'stuff' from our former larger house - old furniture, toys, games, books, paintings which needs to go to the charity shop etc. A bit of indoor house painting - one room to be finished. A driver would be helpful but not essential. Someone who likes ... more inside

Hi Helpxer!

We are looking for somebody to start asap, ideally for a month or more. We also have availability for the rest of the year.

We are a beautiful B&B with 28 rooms in the centre of Belfast. Just 5 minutes walk from the University and 10 minutes from the City hall and city centre.

We ask you to help at the B&B for 24 hours a week for which we give you free accommodation and breakfast.

For our volunteers we have a room with 3 volunteers. Use of kitchen facilities and of course toilet / shower.

Your English needs to be good enough for reception shifts.

Around the corner from the B&B there are train and bus stops and a wide range of restaurants and pubs.
The city of Belfast is an amazing city with 300.000 people that are so friendly and helpful in any way.
The country is beautiful with an amazing scenery.

Thank you for your time and attention and hope to hear from you soon!

** I am looking for helpers from July 2017 and throughout the summer **
This is a backpacker hostel about 50 metres from the Atlantic Ocean in the pretty little town of Portstewart. The nearby coastline is a dramatic mix of rocky coastline and long sandy beaches with the major attractions of the Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge further along the coast and easily accessible by bus or car. There are fine surfing opportunities in both Portstewart and the nearby Portrush with surf shops in both towns. The area also has a lively year round night life.
The hostel is a small 32 bed hostel. Volunteers would need to be happy mixing in an environment with all nationalies and types of guests. The duties to be done would be to help maintain a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the hostel. They would also help in the various cleaning and reception activities of the hostel. As you would be interacting with the guests a reasonable level of English would be needed although the positi... more inside

I run a small accommodation venue, with large garden for vegetables and chickens. On the same plot of land is my own cottage, with some spare rooms. I am hoping to find a suitable person(s) to help with general maintenance, some joinery, garden work, and vegetables. I need assistance with maintenance, cleaning accommodation venue and general house work in my own cottage. What I do here is small scale. I work as a full time artist and am away from the venue now and again. Happy to supply food and accommodation and good introduction to the area. Looking for reliable and flexible person who can act on his/her own initiative.
