Hi,

We are a family of 4, two parents in our mid 30's (Shay and Aaron) with two wonderful children, 22 month old Ella and 4 year old Elijah.

We are looking for a helper to look after the kids while we're at work for about 20 hours per week. We'd like someone who is experienced with looking after kids and is able to stay for at least two weeks.

Our house is a large family home where you will have your own room and dedicated bathroom. A 35 minute train ride into Melbourne CBD or enjoy the local shops, cafes and a nature reserve.

We are trying to live as sustainably as we can. We practice the basic principles of permaculture and zero waste on our small suburban block.

Please email or msg for availability.

Please note photos are not current to Parkville. This is on the to-do list. The old house pictured from Altona, however, is not too different from the new house in Brighton East. To keep it simple there are two properties where I or you may stay in Parkville, VIC and now a new house in Brighton East.

"Morrah Morrah" Large Central Parkville Rooming House in need of help for looking after arriving guests and help with light cleaning, trash, kitchens, bathrooms, side projects et al.

In addition to the main Parkville house there is an apartment across the park and we have a new house we are setting up in Brighton East where we may also have guests.

I can also give you a contribution for groceries if you'd like to cook for more than one person.

For short stays there is no routine full time labor, rather chores might include weeding or mowing the lawn or washing the windows or even taking the bus to kmart to get weed killer if I've forgotten it or being here to welcome pay... more inside

Hi all! We live on a classic 'Australian bush'property on Phillip Island, about 2 minutes away from amazing beaches and about 6 into the main town (Cowes). A friend mentioned HelpX to me, asking if I could do with some help with this house and property, I hadn't even thought of something like this before and ABSOLUTELY yes I'd love some help! I have 5 gorgeous-kooky-fun loving kids (15, 13, 10, 8 and 3)a big house, nice chunk of land and I am 1 woman. Ha! We are always going here and there, we are active and out and about. Our helper would be welcome to become a part of our family, hang with us, go surfing (update...itís getting cold cold down here now so thereís not much surfing action! Youíre welcome to borrow surf boards and give it a go but you would have to hire a wetsuit from the local surf shop), hiking, exploring. Itís obviously getting a bit quiet down here now with the cage of season, there is not all that much to see and do on cold and windy days, please consider this bef... more inside
