We are just checking the interest right now for next year.
We have a toddler full of energy and a long list of home improvement tasks that we haven't been able to tackle ..They are small jobs that we would like to get done but we need some help to get to them in exchange of a good meal and shelter !
Our location would also interest fruit pickers with lots of big farms around .
French are preferred as my son doesnt have much exposure to it but all nationalities are welcome from few days to few weeks at a time.
So if you want to discover our beautiful region without spending much on accomodation/food while getting a little bit of a workout or occasional toddler play ,please contact us :-)

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!! .. and we need some help to come out of our winter hibernation!

We are Sheryl, Warren and Harry (aged 9 years). Sheryl and Warren run their own business and Harry is in his 4th year at school. We are a friendly, fun and social family. We love spending time at our home when we can, gardening and playing board games. We enjoy sharing our home with travellers and exchanging cultural experiences.

We live in the beautiful Upper Yarra Valley region of Victoria with our golden retriever (Chelsea) and cats (Cheeky and Chooey). Unfortunately due to recent spate of fox attacks, we are currently chicken free. We have just over an acre of combined gardens and native bushland.

We have swimming holes at our doorstep, mountains surrounding us, many hiking tracks and world class wineries/restaurants nearby. We live in a warm and welcoming community.

We are 70kms from Melbourne city central. We travel into Melbourne frequently, which would present opportunities fo... more inside

I have a small warmblood stud and training facility. I break in and train warmbloods for dressage and show jumping. I would love someone to help with general help around the farm and garden. It is a great chance to spend some time around beautiful horses enjoy the countryside, have a swim in the pool and generally enjoy a small part of Australia.
We are only 45 minutes by train to Melbourne, close to wine regions and in a real country area, not far from Melbourne airport.

We operate a cattle farm situated in the beautiful, pristine alpine national park, Victoria, just 1 hr from Dargo, 2 hrs from Bairnsdale and 6 hrs from Melbourne. We look forward to welcoming you to our farm and into our family. We are a fairly cosmopolitan family with Chinese, East Timorese and Peruvian members of extended family. We would be happy to show you around the area and try to make your stay as interesting and informative as possible. While not strictly an organic farm we do observe organic principals. There is a mud brick house on the farm as well as a swing bridge over the river. There is trout fishing platypus viewing and kayaking available in the Wonnangatta river running through the farm. We are totally self sufficient with our own solar set up providing electricity, orchard, extensive vegetable garden and chickens. The Alpine National Park is a pristine area with deer, wombats and kangaroos. We are looking for someone to help with gardening, splitting and sta... more inside
