Our home an old, 19c red brick farmhouse near miles of coastal nature reserves. The area is popular with tourists who come to see the seals at Donna Nook in November & December. Great area for photography, walking, etc - beautiful coastline and countryside - VERY rural, farmland surrounds us.

Cloddygate Farm is NOT a working farm. We have a large organic garden with flower borders, veggie patch, herb garden, fruit trees and greenhouse.

We keep a few hens for the fantastic eggs and the 'girls' are great fun too!

We usually like short term helpers(2 - 4 weeks) working in the gardens, weeding, planting etc., sometimes helping around the house, cutting wood, cooking, preserving but it's difficult to know as we do projects as money allows but we'll try to make your stay as varied as possible.

We would also like help internal decorating/painting this year.

Expect to work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. In addition keeping your own room and your bathroom clean and tidy and ch... more inside

looking for helpers now..... anyone with carpentry skills for mending a section of the caravan....

I am bookdealer, and single mum, of one very well behaved child, (a model of virtue, aged 12,) with approx 1 acre of woodland, and sloping garden. I am looking for carpenter/ practical handy man
to build and create and do general maintenance and gardening tasks in exchange for accomodation and meals.

If you like books, peace and quiet, then you will like my house...it is untidy though, so anyone with OCD should stay away.

Rural but 1/2 an hour to central london, ten minute walk to Bletchingley village,
easy access gatwick. great views, peaceful, on public bridleway/ long distance footpath, Greensand way.

working hours are 5 hrs a day, any 5 days a week. so you can pretty much arrange your week so as to have time off to sight see etc in london or wherever you chose.

accommodation is in the new, to me, caravan. Doing it up os one of the first tasks as the rear n... more inside

Hello ***
We are a family with a one year old baby boy , we have just moved in to a large house with an enormous garden as part of the living and learning community at EMMERSON COLLEGE.
It is our hope to run this place as a BNB/ Retreat centre... but there is a lot of work to do first!!

We need help with the garden, baby care, general house help, [cooking/ cleaning mostly] We also want to build a sauna and sheltered living space in the garden.
We also need to build a WEBSITE for our work. [and have no idea how to do that! ;)
We can offer you a lovely cosy room just outside of the beautiful village of forest row.... or we also have a truck you can stay in or a bell tent in the garden.

Forest row is in the heart of the Ashdown forest [an enchanted forest where Winnie the pooh was born and lives! ;) and right in between Brighton and London so is a perfect location for visiting the UK.
We are very close to, Michael Hall Steiner School and a number of Steiner based /An... more inside

We live in a terraced house in the small, friendly city of Norwich.

I can often use help with (non gender specific) 'handyman' jobs, painting, gardening, sometimes IT, art textiles, design teaching. I do most of my decorating myself and have high standards. I am likely to be working alongside you. I need an experienced person with good reviews.

September 2018 I am undergoing clearing and spring cleaning throughout my house and gardens and would appreciate help.

I offer a room, and use of my kitchen. Theres no TV here, I am often out and need someone organised and independent. I offer accommodation only in exchange for 3 hours work a day, 5 days a week but it might suit me to work in full day blocks and then have time off. I try to live a low impact lifestyle and am mostly vegetarian.

If you are a textile artist please make contact and tell me about your work. I need non smoking, skilled, independent individuals who can follow simple instructions and work to a high ... more inside

We will be hosting Helpx again in 2017 and we offer a double room with en-suite bathroom, plus meals, for 20 hours work per person per week, based on working 9.00 to 13.00 five days. We have about an acre of ground at home, plus we have another acre and a half 10 mins walk away. We especially enjoy gardening, both flowers and vegetables. We welcome help with garden work, such as outdoor painting, weeding, and mending, as well as daily care for the animals. The work will often involve active jobs, e.g. cutting brambles and wood, moving manure, digging etc, so you need a reasonable level of mobility/fitness, and it is helpful (but not at all essential) if you are willing to use power tools, such as strimmer and mower! If you would like to join us for a while you will need working clothes and suitable outdoor working footwear, as we still work if the rain is not too heavy! However, if the weather is too bad to work outdoors, ordinary domestic jobs such as housework may be involved, ... more inside
