We have a tourist hostel near Arvagh which is in Co. Cavan and is a beautiful lake district. We are trying to develop this business as well as develop our garden and try to grow as much of our own food as possible.Skills in carpentry would be really useful to build a tree house as well as usual maintenance jobs to be done. We need help in both the house/hostel and garden. We have a donkey so if you can help with teaching him to pull a cart them that would be fantastic. Anybody skilled in boat repair would be especially welcome so that we can enjoy the local lakes. Good helpers who like housework, getting the lunch ready other volunteers, keeping the place properly clean and making hostel beds, doing laundry etc also welcome. There are 365 lakes of Cavan. It's a very scenic and underdeveloped part of Ireland and you have 2 days off each week to explore.

September is here.
Come to Skibbereen and enjoy your West Cork experience in the Bridge House. See from my profile photos how much funny it could be here.

I need help for 25 hours a week over five or six days. Light housework, changing bed linen etc and general help in a happy environment, with access to all local amenities. You will have your own comfortable room, free wifi, use of bicycle and three good meals a day etc.

Skibbereen is a very friendly and safe town.
You can meet a lot of local and really nice people, listen live music in the pubs and enjoy your evenings.
It is close to water based activities, including beaches, kayaking and whale watching. There's hill walking and cycle routes and generally great outdoor activities to suit all.

My house won the most unusual B&B award and has been on television a number of times. I am a creative person and enjoy fun and a laugh and I am a bit of a drama queen which is reflected in my home. I like to work with ... more inside

I have just moved into a cottage in the Irish countryside. I am looking for a person or couple to clean, help paint, some craft projects, build a garden, and feed the cats when I am away. It is a very quite and peaceful place, 4 km from the nearest town. You would have your own part of the cottage, good vegetarian food, jacuzzi tub, fireplace. There is a separate artists studio to use. It would really suit a writer or artist looking for a quite place to work or to meditate. There are bikes having a car would be an advantage. I go to Dublin several days a week so could drive.

We don't need any helpers at the moment, for the rest of the year, thank you.

We cook healthy food so you will be well fed. We usually eat a lot of fresh fish and salads and various other dishes.
If you are vegetarian, that's fine.

The hostel is in Kilkee, west Co. Clare. It's a seaside town. It is a great place for anyone who loves nature, fresh sea air, simple seaside town life, cliff walks, swimming in the sea.
Some places not too far away that you could visit while you are here are :
The Cliffs of Moher, Ennis, Galway, The Burren, Loop Head Peninsula and lighthouse.

We are on the 'Wild Atlantic Way'.

There are 6 bedrooms. There is a common living room, a dining room, and a kitchen.

There are pubs, restaurants and shops.
There is music on most nights of the week in different pubs.

I take one or two helpers.

There are various jobs to do such as helping organise breakfast, changing bed sheets and linen, doing laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, washing... more inside

Things are slowly coming together here at the Permaferry. We are creating a Fukuoka style natural farm and food forest, which actually means less work to do. However in spring there is a lot of preparation to do, building soil and getting ready for the growing season. We will scatter seed balls soon, mulching beds with seaweed, planting more trees and shrubs, building a beehive. The yurt needs an urgent clean. We also need a couple of periods during the spring and the autumn for a house sitter while we looks after our food forest in Italy.

A brand new project to add to our existing place in Italy (host 9132). We just purchased a cottage on the beautiful Ards peninsula south of Belfast, a mile from the Irish Sea and 3 miles from Lough Strangford. The intention is to eventually set up a centre for permaculture with courses and events. Early tasks are to clear the garden and plan and implement a design, converting part of a barn into volunteer accommodation, setting up a yur... more inside

Helper wanted on dairy farm (Oct-Dec).
We run a grass-based dairy farm and our cows live outdoors for most of the year.
We're looking for a person to help for Autumn/Winter season as we're very busy.
Hard work, good food and hospitality guaranteed.
Tasks include milking cows, tractor driving and general repairs and maintenance.
No experience needed, enthusiasm essential.
We're centrally situated, so previous helpers have taken day trips to Galway city and Dublin.
We think that our part of Ireland has a nice community and beautiful countryside.
We'd hope that you would enjoy working hard on our farm but still feel that you got to know county Offaly.

At present we are looking for someone to do general house work. In particular we need someone who can cook, knows their way around keeping a house together (clean and tidy!) and sometimes can help to mind a stubborn 3 year old and a 1 year old. We have an absence of extended family in our vicinity as I am not originally from Galway!

We live in a lovely area of Galway, 15 mins by bus to the centre. We have a lovely park beside us called Cappagh Park, and Barna Woods is lovely for a walk. We are also between two coastal areas, Salthill; a very well known area of Galway, and Silver Strand in Barna, so there is access to nice beach walks or walking/jogging the Salthill Prom - this is a stretch of 3km and overlooks Galway Bay.
Galway is well known for it's multicultural aspects and there is always something to do or go to here, unfortunately not for parents of small babies though!! There are many festivals or mini festivals. A quick google search would give you some idea! We are on t... more inside
