We are looking for someone to help us with our guest house and garden, such as greeting guests, tidying up, cleaning, and maybe some light gardening with Tom during the busy summer season. If you like ponies we have a lovely friendly pony in stable and would be delighted if you could help out. We offer free accommodation 7 nights a week in exchange for circa 20 hours of help per week. This is a small, friendly cottage located on the outskirts of Waterford City Centre in the Suir river valley. Our philosophy is to offer a home away from home to international guests. There are also 2 dogs, 2 cats and of course Socki the pony. Tom is an experienced tour guide with a great inside into travelling around Ireland. The cottge has a big garden and the locality is very scenic.

This is an 18th century listed farmhouse, with a partially restored courtyard and outbuildings in need of lots of love and attention - particularly stone work! The property is set on 4 acres of mixed woodland, meadow and garden - which is in need of constant care also - We are definitely looking for helpers who love the outdoors:)

CURRENT JOBS
- Painting
- stone work (mainly low wall building) with host
- for rainy days there are numerous smaller indoor jobs such as cleaning stone walls in reclaimed sheds and painting woodwork/doors/windows

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- a fair amount of work in exchange for meals and accommodation. We have been working for more than 20 years to make improvements to our house, garden and woodland area and it is absolutely a labour of love. We would like to stress that we are looking for likeminded people who will enter into this spirit as we have had experiences with helpxers who had other priorities and it wasnít a great experience!

I am looking for a couple of people to share a room in the house. I have a young fella, Jamie, staying in the mobile home and could do with some handy people who might know a little plumbing and wood work.
Independant, easy going, liberal minded, unjudgemental people only need apply, we are who we are, you'll either love us or hate us
We grow medical herbs, so an interest in this area would be good. The place is getting a bit overrun with weeds again, I need someone who can handle a strimmer too. I'll try and do some up to date photos in the next couple of days. Sophie, (18) is in the little house you can see, Aengus has a room in the house. Jack is in a van outside and Eleanor is in and out, Alex is coming over to build some walls and a balcony in the next month. That's all my kids.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are pretty strict working days, the rest of the week can be left for pottering and making nice things. Friday is market day
I have a large grown up family and ... more inside

We are developing a small sustainable community based upon ancient Native American communications ideas of The Circle Way as put forward by Wampanoag elder Manitonquat (Medicine Story)which helps us to live and work together as a community with minimal problems of disagreement. We have a beautiful area of land in the hills of East Clare with woodlands and open field areas and a comfortable community house for visiting helpers to use (single and 2-bed / 3-bed rooms available). We are developing gardens and an orchard and we will soon have a polytunnel. We usually ask volunteers to work 4 to 5 hrs per day and have weekends free. There is a variety of work to do according to weather conditions, including occasional indoor work. We have plans to develop a large open-sided barn to create rooms for meetings, games, workshops. We also need to construct new garden areas needing fences, polytunnel, raised beds, clearing field-drains, etc. In addition we are working on personal spaces for... more inside

We run a small farm nestled at the foot of The beautiful Ox Mountains near Lough Talt. We keep sheep but major in equestrian interests and poultry. Our needs vary but essentially we are looking for helpers able to offer or develop basic DIY skills and help with small painting and carpentry projects. A willingness to learn is more important than experience but we would be happy to hear from young persons who would like to join us. We offer comfortable accommodation and use of mountain bikes to explore the breathtaking countryside. Fishing and horse riding (experience essential) are both activities wie can share with you. We have 4 dogs who live in our home so it is essential that you are a dog lover!
We have an opportunity for someone to join us in SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER 2017
