We are a semi retired couple, living 3klms from Innisfail next to the picturesque Johnstone River. Innisfail is 85klms south of Cairns with a tropical climate. Our area is noted for its beauty in scenery, such as beaches, rainforests, and waterfalls.a popular centre for young backpackers.
We would like a single female who can clean exterior and help with the garden. We have modern facilities with own bedroom and bathroom and we are willing to show the helper our district. We do not object to people that drink as we do have a drink ourselves but we would like a person that drinks moderately or not at all. We could make an opportunity for our helper to be able to go to the pub (bar) for entertainment. We would only like to host one week at a time. Please note we do not require a helper till early October

I have a property of 10 acres south west of Gympie. A half acre food forest was planted in Feb 2012 and the native tree garden, some bearing edible fruit, brings in the many varieties of birds. It is now a flourishing edible landscape. A very large vegetable patch takes pride of place with a habitat pond with native fish to encourage frogs and lizards and is surrounded by a substantial fence to keep out the nocturnal bandicoots, echidnas and cane toads. More projects are planned, and are ongoing, one being to plant trees for timber. I also have 6 alpacas who give me a lot of pleasure. Meals provided are good wholesome food, mostly vegetarian though meat is eaten on a regular basis. Lots of wildlife to be enjoyed and 2 large dams and great views. Guests have a lovely separate downstairs bedroom with 2 single beds with separate own shower & toilet. I would expect approx. 4-5 hours of work per day. I currently need help to do fencing, pruning, weeding, mulching, potting etc & general u... more inside

Restoration of creek and beautiful gardens on the outskirts of Brisbane in the Samford Valley. Walking distance to Samford Village. Stay here and in return help with general gardening and vege gardening and any other activity you would like to contribute such as cooking or general cleaning. The garden has creek frontage and is being restored to rain forest. I back onto the Baden Powell Scout Park and there are beautiful places to walk and go site seeing in the local area. Swimming pool, own room and bathroom, very comfortable house. Let me know if you have any questions.
