This is a small scale, organic market garden located in Dural, approximately 45 minutes from the Sydney CBD. We are looking for helpers who are passionate and driven to provide fresh, local sustainably produced produce to those within our surrounding community and parts of Sydney’s CBD.
Currently farming on 5 acres, our farm’s success lays in the direct relationships with have with our consumers feeding in excess of 120 families each week via vegie box schemes, farm gate sales and food and community cooperatives. It is certainly an exciting time to join our growing team as we transition to a ‘Community Supported Agriculture’ model (which directly engages the consumer in the farm and its operations). Our goal is to establish more CSA farms across Sydney and beyond that will also incorporate both animal production and other diversified crops).
Farming activities will vary from day to day but will include key activities such as; planting, mulching, weeding, spraying some of the or... more inside

We run a part time bed and breakfast on parkland setting which has a bush type feeling only 200metres from the beautiful Camden Haven river and 1.5 kilometres from the ocean. We have resident kangaroos and an amazing variety of birdlife. We need help maintaining the gardens and establishing new vegetable and flower gardens as well as external cleaning of the house. Some duties will be medium strength jobs such as weeding and digging holes in sandy soil.
We are first time hosters at this stage and wish to try helpers for a week starting early June 2014 with the option to go for longer up to a month if all works out . We have a well appointed accomodation that would probably best suit a travelling couple. We are easygoing couple in mid fifties who love having camp ovens at least once a week and just like the simple life
