We are a family operated Brahman & Brangus Studcattle Breeding operation also breeding Thoroughbred horses (racehorses), running approximately 3500 cattle and 50 horses.

We would like to offer a bush experience on a family property providing food and accommodation in return for help with feeding cattle and horses. Working horses if experienced rider and general farm duties.
We would have position for builder, plumber or handyman too, as we are renovating parts of the house.

(the following has been dictated by a helper as she decided that our listing could need a bit more length/info)
There are two rooms for helpers, so even if there are two of you, you should have one on your own. We are renovating and some painting still needs to be done. Food is meat and veggies. We've had vegetarians in the past as well, so something can be worked out. If once in a while you'd like something different, Desley will be happy to surrender the kitchen to you.
We are over 30km from the next... more inside

We sometimes need voluntary help with cleaning, maintenance, cafe work and other customer service. Short term positions are sometimes available to competent volunteers. We live on a sheep, cattle and wheat property on the QLD/NSW border, where Australian wildlife is abundant. This is an opportunity to experience the Australian outback off the backpacker track with meeting real Aussies and gaining an insight into our way of life on the land. Goondiwindi is approx a 4.5 hour drive from Brisbane and a 9 hour drive from Sydney. We have two small children (a two year old girl and a three month old boy), so help with either caring for the children, housework or gardening would be very much appreciated. Some farm work if interested. The accommodation includes a comfortable one bedroom cottage with own bathroom, lounge and kitchen. It can accommodate a couple (double bed) or two seperate friends (one double and one single bed).

***I CAN SIGN SECOND YEAR VISA PAPERWORK***

I'm a retired man with my daughter and her son living at home with family members popping in. I would love for some help in general day to day activities. Caring for children and myself and renovation work and gardening etc.

I can show you the rural countryside of Australia. Introduce you to some great characters, and show you some of the local sites in Chinchilla, dalby and Tara.

You can catch a Greyhound bus (www.greyhound.com.au) to either Dalby or Chinchilla from Brisbane! Services to Dalby travel twice daily. Details further when you decide to come.

I have a large timber 4-bedroom home which runs on solar power and generator.

Please feel free to contact me if you want more information.

Look forward to hearing from you soon!

A small cordyline propagating nursery situated in beautiful tropical Far North Queensland. We are looking for help with gardening, planting trees,
weeding, mulching, making compost, some help with cleaning would be great.Cyclone Yasi took our original shadehouse and work is underway to replace it with a smaller more efficient one.
We are situated just a short walk to the beach and almost halfway between Townsville and Cairns. Mission Beach is a nice drive away through rainforest and Licuala palm forests and cassowary are often sighted on the way. Several Islands are right out in front of Googara Beach including Dunk, Bedarra and Hinchinbrook and the winter fishing is just fabulous. Pelagic species abound and are taken by boat either trolling or with lures. Large Spanish mackerel are always possible.
Some of Australia's best white water rafting is based in Tully a 20 minute drive away.

Hello from Marilyn in Cairns,

I would like to offer a Maximum of four hours a day in exchange for accommodation. Looking to have the house cleaned, maintenance in the garden, and some trees and shrubs clipped. I have animals as well so wouldn't mind someone walking my dogs. If you choose not to help then you can rent a room for a small fee. The kitchen is available for you to cook your own meals.

Four Bedroom One Bathroom Home in a quiet close which is close to the city and beaches bus routes, Botanical Garden, Coffee Shops, McDonald's and the local Supermarkets. I have 2 bedrooms available, 1 Double and 1 Twin or 2 Double, to let for short term or long term stay. Breakfast and Dinner can be provided if arranged and the price for this can be negotiated. Both bedrooms are Air Conditioned to cool the room down and use when necessary and switched off when not in the room as our electricity is expensive.

We are able to pick you up from the airport or transit station if it is ... more inside

I have a home in Gympie on a quarter of an acre which I am looking to develop an organic garden on.

I am offering free accommodation (your own room) plus meals in exchange for mostly household and gardening work. An average of four hours a day work, but arrangements can be made if you want a day free. You could stay for a few days or a few weeks.

Gympie is a beautiful place and my home is right on the river. Gympie is on Highway 1, (Bruce Hwy) and Queensland's major rail route.
