Dear Travellers, Welcome to Brisbane.

WHO WE ARE: Our names are Deborah and Paul. We both work full time and are very proud parents of three children, plus a super-friendly Groodle dog named Barclay. We also have a lovely German au-pair whom helps us with the children and the house.

WHAT WE OFFER:
- We have a beautiful, traditional old house called a “Queenslander” on 10 acres in Upper Brookfield, which is around 40 minutes from Brisbane City via car (25 kms). The house has a spectacular view of Brisbane
- It is surrounded by natural bushland and features many native Australian animals like kangaroos and wallabies, possums, parrots and (unfortunately very rarely) koalas.
- You would have our spare room with a double bed
- You would share a lounge room (featuring a TV, couch, WiFi) and bathroom with our aupair.
- You would be able to take advantage of our swimming pool and tennis court when you are not working.
- We would also provide all meals, bed linen, and... more inside

GARDENING, HELP AROUND THE HOUSE

We are a home-schooling family of 5 living on 1.5 hectares close to the centre of Bundaberg. Our property has extensive gardens as well as vegetables and fruit trees.

Our current focus is on planting Australian native plants in the gardens, removing weeds and mulching the garden beds. Helpers would need to be willing to work unsupervised once they are familiar with the tasks. We prefer a minimum stay of 4 days.

Accomodation is a fully self-contained flat with a queen bed and double fold-out bed, bathroom, kitchenette, fridge, TV, internet and use of swimming pool.

As a home-schooling family we enjoy meeting people from around the world and helping our children learn about different places and cultures.

Hello,
We are a family of 3 that love to work here on our small farm. We are well on the way to being self sufficient.

We live in wonderful part of Australia in the Lockyer Valley, yet we are close to all major cities. 15 mins to Toowoomba, 20 mins to Gatton 1 1/2 hrs to Brisbane, The Sunshine coast or the Gold Coast.

There are many animals to help look after....Sheep, geese, ducks, goat, chickens and pigs....Also gardening work to be done in our large vege garden and food forest....There is some general housework that will need doing.

You have your own private cabin down in our rain forest with your own bathroom in the rain forest. This is your own private area for your use. This is a great Australian experience.

This is a great spot for couples but singles are also very welcome...
We will happily pick you up from the bus station.
Looking forward to meeting you..

SeaDog Vets is a small veterinary practice in Cooktown, far north Queensland Australia. Our small community is surrounded by world heritage rainforest, the great barrier reef and national parks.

Living this far north is an adventure.

Cape York has more venomous creatures, disease and disasters than most places on earth so the vet work and our small clinic see interesting cases.

Accommodation is either the woofer flat (bottom level of our pole house. Bedroom, open plan living, bathroom and cooking facilities. Or for the more adventurous a 50 foot yacht moored out on the Endeavour river.

Walk distance to everything.

Some driving may be required so it's helpful to us if you have a license.

Our patients, clients and farm calls cover an area the size of Scotland. We run a daily clinic in Cooktown and make calls further afield via light aircraft, boat and 4x4. It's an extreme environment and one of the most interesting place to live on earth.

I need a happy healthy strong person or preferably a couple to help with my beautiful 7 year old house and half acre of terraced gardens. I have listed some rooms on AirBnB - so the work is housework, gardening, cleaning, shovelling dirt or mulch, planting, making terraced gardens, pruning & removing dead branches, feeding chooks or worms, etc. Also maybe helping my brothers, Graham or Brian, either gardening or cleaning up their houses, moving furniture or whatever needs doing - eg. taking my 93 year old mother out to lunch. In return lots of good healthy cooking fresh from my vege gardens or the local market, lots of vegetables and Jamie Oliver recipes where possible. 5 star accommodation offered in this beautiful mansion on a hill - an 'Old Queenslander' style house with 1/2 acre of terraced native trees and shrubs, two worm farms/compost bins and three chooks - beautiful high verandahs and views in a leafy estate of architect-designed houses surrounded by bush. I live mid-way... more inside

A beautiful 3 bedroom home 4 kms outside Malanda township. Sunrises, wild life, serenity, music, dreaming, fun and creativity. Lots of projects and creativity that keeps us busy.

We are looking for all types of people to stay with us and help out a little. There is mostly garden work to be done, but there is always something to be fixed or tweaked in the home.

One of the first projects that needs embracing is basic pruning back the citrus orchard, so if you are up for some garden taming, ride-on mower time, and general outdoor large yard fun, I think we have you covered.

We have over 100 varieties of halaconias (feel free to take some with you), a few good climbing trees for your inner child. We plan to turn the yard into an uber overflowing food bowl that we hope you will be a participant in, and also come back to visit time and again.

We love sharing our space and having new experiences with people from everywhere.

Stays can vary - 2 hours, 2 weeks...who knows.... more inside

I am renovating an old Queenslander and I need some help ranging from cleaning, painting to carpentry and light plumbing through to gardening.
I am looking for preferably a couple 25 years old up. Smoking is only outside the house.
Hours are negotiable but probably about 4 hours a day with meals and accommodation and WIFI supplied. Lovely bedroom with double bed, mosquito net. Big veranda, lots of birds, garden :)
I live in a lovely area with lots of bush walking, lake, some good rock climbing and only 1 hour from Brisbane. Lamington National Park is about 1 hour drive but plenty others here.
The small town is within walking distance with all required. No public transport in the area so you will need your own car or being a bit stuck here whilst I am at work.
I like speaking Spanish and French, keen on hiking and meeting people, traveling, exchange ideas.
