This is a mixed farming enterprise that I work on, involving sheep, potatoes , and irrigated Lucerne. We are situated halfway between Bordertown and Naracoorte, which is an hour from the coast and the famous Coonawarra wine region. There would be a variety of work for those who choose to come here, including and not limited to:- working with sheep, driving tractors, fencing, gardening, and general farmwork. you would stay in our house, and fit in to our family life, and we would love to show you what this area has to offer. I am a single mother of two girls aged 10 and 12, who would love the experience of meeting people from different cultures. So if you're looking for a farming experience in the South East region of South Australia, don't hesitate to contact me :-)

We are a young couple and own 95 acres of farmland about 5 mins from beautiful Lake Alexandrina.

We work in the horse racing and shearing industry, which you could get a look into if you like.
At home we crop and run approx 300 sheep on our own land and also some other farms.

We also have about 150 laying chooks and chickens, 3 working dogs, currently with puppies, 2 cats and 2 horses (one having a foal soon) to look after in our spare time, so we are generally very busy.

The work includes looking after some animals, gardening, household duties and fencing/painting/ maintenance.
We are also renovating the old farm house, so if you are an experienced trades person, your skills will be used also.
