Hello ***
We are a family with a one year old baby boy , we have just moved in to a large house with an enormous garden as part of the living and learning community at EMMERSON COLLEGE.
It is our hope to run this place as a BNB/ Retreat centre... but there is a lot of work to do first!!

We need help with the garden, baby care, general house help, [cooking/ cleaning mostly] We also want to build a sauna and sheltered living space in the garden.
We also need to build a WEBSITE for our work. [and have no idea how to do that! ;)
We can offer you a lovely cosy room just outside of the beautiful village of forest row.... or we also have a truck you can stay in or a bell tent in the garden.

Forest row is in the heart of the Ashdown forest [an enchanted forest where Winnie the pooh was born and lives! ;) and right in between Brighton and London so is a perfect location for visiting the UK.
We are very close to, Michael Hall Steiner School and a number of Steiner based /An... more inside

We live in a terraced house in the small, friendly city of Norwich.

I can often use help with (non gender specific) 'handyman' jobs, painting, gardening, sometimes IT, art textiles, design teaching. I do most of my decorating myself and have high standards. I am likely to be working alongside you. I need an experienced person with good reviews.

September 2018 I am undergoing clearing and spring cleaning throughout my house and gardens and would appreciate help.

I offer a room, and use of my kitchen. Theres no TV here, I am often out and need someone organised and independent. I offer accommodation only in exchange for 3 hours work a day, 5 days a week but it might suit me to work in full day blocks and then have time off. I try to live a low impact lifestyle and am mostly vegetarian.

If you are a textile artist please make contact and tell me about your work. I need non smoking, skilled, independent individuals who can follow simple instructions and work to a high ... more inside

We will be hosting Helpx again in 2017 and we offer a double room with en-suite bathroom, plus meals, for 20 hours work per person per week, based on working 9.00 to 13.00 five days. We have about an acre of ground at home, plus we have another acre and a half 10 mins walk away. We especially enjoy gardening, both flowers and vegetables. We welcome help with garden work, such as outdoor painting, weeding, and mending, as well as daily care for the animals. The work will often involve active jobs, e.g. cutting brambles and wood, moving manure, digging etc, so you need a reasonable level of mobility/fitness, and it is helpful (but not at all essential) if you are willing to use power tools, such as strimmer and mower! If you would like to join us for a while you will need working clothes and suitable outdoor working footwear, as we still work if the rain is not too heavy! However, if the weather is too bad to work outdoors, ordinary domestic jobs such as housework may be involved, ... more inside

As well as the arable side of the farm there are also 4 fishing lakes, an airstrip and a fairly new project of an Azalea and Rhododendron garden. Harvest tractor driving () in addition to free accommodation and food.

A large one bedroom flat available now for the month of September. It has a kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, living room and study and is located in the south of England (one mile from the sea). Enjoy the flat and location in return for gardening, decorating (e.g. Painting, tiling etc) and cleaning etc. As we both work, much of the time you will need to work autonomously. If you like dogs, even better as we have a one year old black Labrador. The flat has its own front door and the bedroom has a double bed so would be suitable for one person or a couple. Please note that we don't provide food but are happy to help you transport your first shop and show you around. There's a supermarket a 15 minute walk away; if you're free when I go, you can always come with me. The flat is available now until October 2017 (exact date to be confirmed). There is much to see in the area, the Historic dockyards in Portsmouth are a short trip away, as is the new forest with its wild ponies. Winch... more inside

Family smallholding in a quiet, rural location close to Glastonbury (10 km). We grow grapes and other fruit to make wine and liqueurs. Mead and cider are also produced. Accommodation is in a large static caravan with electricity, gas cooker and wifi but no water. Toilet and shower are located in the nearby winery. Helpers eat the main meal with us in the house but fix their own breakfast and lunch in the caravan with food provided by us. Whilst we do eat meat we are very happy to cater for vegetarian and vegan diets. Work involves looking after the plants/trees, picking, bottling and wine-making and also serving customers in our small shop. There is no public transport but bikes are available. We are happy to pick up from local bus and train stations.

Anyone available now? We have been let down by a helper, we can host you for 1 up to 2 weeks. We live in Rugby, a safe and traditional old English market town in the West Midlands where the sport was born and near the river Avon. We are only an hour from London by train. We need 2 more Helpers for 2 weeks to share with Nadine from Canada. Stay 1 or 2 weeks or less.
PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ ABOUT US, TO THE END, AND OUR PAST HELPERS' TESTIMONIALS BEFORE EMAILING ME.:)

We speak English, Spanish, and Italian, lived in Italy for more than 30 years running a villa rental, recently retired in UK.

I welcome helpers who can work on their own initiative, strong and willing.

We are moving house, again!, (need bigger spaces), and need help, ferrying boxes over and sorting at the new house.
The move distance is 2 miles; we will have a Man- and-a-Van service to move large items of furniture. It is important that at least one helper has a valid driving licence and can drive our non-... more inside

Hello!
Our family home is a rural cottage on the edge of the beautiful Black Mountains in Herefordshire. We would welcome help with the continued establishment of the veggie garden and aquaponics garden, plus some small building projects and sawing up wood for winter fuel (we have a largish amount!), interior and exterior decorating, whichever you think you might be able to contribute.
Having recently moved to the cottage with a largish garden (patch) with many practical projects I invite helpers to come and stay, join me and family in finishing a project. I have a nice room in my house for accommodation, shared bathroom, delicious homemade food, company and a really interesting local area to offer. I am within walking distance of the mountains for outdoor activities, biking etc, and a few miles from the famous book town of Hay on Wye and the river Wye also offers lots of opportunities for canoeing etc. This is a peaceful rural situation and would be a great getaway from the busy... more inside
