Our needs vary but essentially we are looking for helpers able to offer or develop basic DIY skills and help with small painting and carpentry projects. A willingness to learn is more important than experience but we would be happy to hear from young persons who would like to join us. We offer comfortable accommodation and use of mountain bikes to explore the breathtaking countryside. Fishing and horse riding (experience essential) are both activities wie can share with you. We have 4 dogs who live in our home so it is essential that you are a dog lover!

This is a smallholding which once had various animals but now just a couple of cats, sometimes sheep that are wandering around and maybe the odd horse in the field.
I recently re-developed this old cottage but there is still some work to do, mostly outdoors.
The property is all based on 1.8 hectares. I need help so I can complete the maintenance of walls, fences, gates on this beautiful small holding.
If you have painting, ground maintenance or building work experience or just a willingness to work, it could be ideal.
You will enjoy the experience if you like to muck in and get stuck into outdoor jobs, and enjoy being part of reviving the property to its lovely best.

This is a very peaceful place to stay and the view is amazing. Due to its rural location, it is better suited to two people traveling together. Although it is rural, it is still close to the main road (N25, 200mtrs) and villages and towns are between 5-8klms.

The cottage overlooks the s... more inside

I am looking for a crewman from 28 August to end September 2017 - thanks for any interest.

I run a boat for divers and fishermen in the north west of Ireland on the Atlantic Ocean, the Rosguill which is a 43 foot/13 metre fast charter boat.

I need a crewman to help with Fishing & Diving Charters.

The work on the boat varies - some days from around 10am until 7pm - other days from 9 until 3pm. The work is not very hard or difficult and it is very rewarding being on the ocean.

The work is mostly helping to tie ropes and making tea/coffee and helping divers with their equipment and is easy to learn.

According to working hours, there would be extra commissions, if just 1 helper.

We are 3 miles from the nearest village & pubs. 25 miles from the big town of Letterkenny.

My website has a lot of information about the area, boat etc. and there are also videos & photos on "Fishing News" & "Diving News"

We have Wi-Fi for free use of guests/helper.

I need some work done on a 10 year old wooden deck and would like to begin work on a structure for living outside. I am a single parent of a 14 year old guy who has been home educated but now in school till 4. I like to cook but equally enjoy not cooking if you want to cook, we enjoy being exposed to some new cultures and always treat helpxrs as part of the family. We live in a very beautiful area which has just won two awards for best kept town in Ireland. We have a family-run Bed & Breakfast on the beautiful island of Inishturk.

Our house is a hive of activity during the summer months as we have a lot of guests, therefore we require some help.
You will be made very welcome in our home where myself and husband Bill raised our 6 children.
We treat our guests as family and we will naturally do the same with you!
There is a wonderful family atmosphere in our house and can be quite busy at times with both family and guests.
We require help with housekeeping and accommodation and if you are a couple there plenty of odd jobs to be done outside.

In your free time, our island has a lot to offer: beautiful scenic walks, 2 beautiful sandy beaches and a lively atmosphere in our Community Club. There are many events and festivals on the island throughout the summer.
Our island webpage is www.inishturkisland.com

** We have a space available immediately, thank you! **

Hello Helpers!

We are a small, family-run hostel in the world famous village of Doolin, Co. Clare. Doolin is about 5 miles from the Cliffs of Moher, a ferryport to the Aran Islands, and most notably is considered the traditional music capital of Ireland, so its an ideal stay for a musician who's looking for the chance to sit in on the nightly trad music sessions in one of several pubs just minutes' walk from the hostel. We love Irish music, play a bit, and encourage music, singing and dance sessions in the hostel common room, so bring along your instrument, your voice or just your ear to join in!

Of course we also welcome anyone who would simply appreciate Doolin's beautiful landscape, the opportunity to explore its rocky coastline, its unique flora and fauna or its archaeological monuments and ruins. Its an ideal spot for photographers, artists and birdwatchers too.

We are offering a free hostel bed and light br... more inside
