Mark and I have two awesome helpers for now :-) Shall let you know when we have room again

We have a lot of work to do around our property mainly getting my vegetable garden planted out.

Laying paving bricks down to the vegetable garden, there is a lot to be done in the gardens. Helping to look after our calves, we shall be getting lambs that will need bottle feedings.

On wet days there is plenty to do inside with some spring cleaning, painting of window frames. Maybe even a little cooking.

As to where you will stay... Mark and I have had quite a few helpers now and love it. We live in an old comfortable villa on the Papamoa Hills backing onto the Papamoa Hills Reserve which we have our own access as we boarder onto it, only a 3 minute drive to the white sands of Papamoa Beach or a 15 drive to the Mount Maunganui Beach. A 40 minute drive to Rotorua. An hour and half up to the Coromandel area. Mark and I love cooking and entertaining. We have 3 daughters all n... more inside

We ocassionally go beach or rock fishing We are 1 minute walk to bush tracks and 5 minute walk to town, and 5 minute drive to the beach. We lead busy lives and try to fit a lot in? I am currently looking for someone to help me change my website. I run a surf school at Ohope Beach. We have a lot of outside maintenance work to do in the garden and around the house as well. Especially painting.

My son loves to surf, and my daughters love to sing and dance.

We are close to Waihi Beach, Tauranga and the forest for bush walking. We encourage fit, enthusiastic types with a can do attitude. You will be staying in the family home so must be smoke/drug free and enjoy children.

Hi. We are Chris and Jess, a 30 year old couple. We have a passion for music. Chris is in a few bands and Jess organizes them. We moved up north from Dunedin to run the family hydroponic lettuce and herb farm situated in Katikati, 30mins north of Tauranga. We are super keen to meet and hang out with travelers who are willing to experience the kiwi-lifestyle and help us out with a few hours work on the property per day in exchange for full board. We often enjoy having a thermal spa at the end of a hard days work. We're close to Waihi Beach, Tauranga and Mt Maunganui and go to the Farmers' Markets in those places every weekend.

Chris' parents, Debbie and Malcolm come up most weekends to help out and run the place when we are away at gigs or concerts. We are headed to Vietnam for a holiday and require some help for Debbie who will be running the farm in our absence.

We have a spare room which can accommodate 1 person or a couple. We are requiring help from someone for at least ... more inside

Desperately in need of someone good at landscaping and gardening!
We have a 1ha lifestyle property 4kms north of Katikati, with cattle, chooks and a good sized vegie garden. We're a well travelled busy family of 4 and have all sorts of ambitious plans for the gardens but as we both work full time, finding time to get out there is difficult.
We've got a cosy sleepout with 2 single beds, toilet and lounge, or a fabulous huge safari style tent with the biggest bed imaginable, (en-suite) for accommodation. Free WIFI, and we'll provide a cooked dinner (not vegie/vegan), plus breakfast and lunch options.
We've had quite a few backpackers staying with us, though most have been working kiwifruit or avos, so paying their way.

We would like help with improving our food gardens, landscaping and creative details around the almost-finished house. Couples and families are welcome. We can provide accommodation a simply furnished, self-contained cottage. Wifi and laundry are in the main house at present.

We are a family of six, living in the subtropical Bay of Plenty. We’re situated on a 2.5 hectare lifestyle block with views of the sea and countryside, and nearby to surf beaches and world-class mountain biking. We share the property with a few cows and sheep, some chickens and a cat, and we produce some of our own spray-free vegetables, fruit and meat. The gardens are never as productive as we would like them to be, needing more time than we have available to improve the layout, plant shelter, mulch, prune, fence, harvest…. We need irrigation infrastructure too – if you have experience in this area please do get in touch.

With four boys here, you need to be child friendly, and definitely non-smoking and ... more inside

August 2017: We have loads for people to do at the moment - planting native trees, getting the veggie garden ready for spring, some building projects. Please contact us if you are available, especially couples or friends.
We are a family of four - Marcus from the UK (who also speaks French), Lisa from NZ, and two children (6 and 4 years old) - establishing our lifestyle block 16km outside Whakatane. We eat organic and home-grown produce as much as possible (not vegetarian) and generally try to live sustainably.
We moved to our home Easter 2013; we have off-grid solar power, spring and rainwater, a caravan, vege gardens and orchards. There is a large area of beautiful native bush on our property in which you can explore, soak up nature and chill out.
We are looking for visitors willing to help out with a wide range of jobs - planting natives, looking after the animals, a variety of building projects, weed control (mainly thistles and barberry), firewood cutting, tree plan... more inside
