JANUARY 2012 UPDATE -------

I (Franois-Xavier, 38) am on my own on the farm right now and due to my own business schedule slightly overwhelmed with daily chores. These include:

feeding a small number of chickens and rabbits. (and clean their mess, though this is probably a once-only task for the duration of your stay here) This is the only chore which is truly vital and requires regularity.
remove ivy from tree trunks. (there are several hundreds of apple trees here, though of course not all are infested)
prune fruit trees (apple and pear) and bushes (redcurrant, blackcurrant). Some heavy pruning is required for most apple trees, it seems.

I am therefore looking for a helper to stay with me for the whole month of January. (provided we both get on after the initial 5-day trial period)

What I expect from you:

I am a pretty hard worker in my own field so I expect you to have a fair amount of work ethic. Im not insensitive to hippism and antimaterialistic counterc... more inside

Hey dudes !

I am Steph, a quiet guy, friendly and happy, enjoying sharing, the opposite of a trouble-maker, and i am living in Toulon, French riviera.
I live down-town, in a 40 meters square flat : living-room + kitchen + 1 bedroom + bath.

I have no experiences yet in HelpX, but i am used to accomodate people by other websites (Cs, Hc).
I accomodate people by sharing my own flat, living like room-mates.
For sure, you can use bathroom, fridge, washing-machine and kitchen, computer, wifi, tv-set...
I have my own room, and you get the comfy sofa-bed.
I do my best to live according the french motto "Liberte - Egalite - Fraternite" => Freedom - Equality - Brotherhood.

In exchange of accomodation and food, ... more inside

We are a small campsite with only 8 pitches and are looking for someone to help with cutting the grass, hedges, moving the odd caravan and just generally keeping the place look tidy. It will mean driving a tractor, lawnmower and using basic strimmers etc.. Hours really are to suit and doesn't have to be rigid daily, probably only equalling up to 3 hours per day.
Accommodation is by means of a supplied caravan which will include electric hook up, Wifi and campsite facilities, food is not normally included but negotiable.

I am living in a new house which was built by my husband. Unfortunately we have separated, and there still remains a little building work to be done. An experienced builder and plumber would be wonderful.
This a wonderful area, with just about every mountain outdoors activity possible. I live in a hamlet about10 minutes drive from the nearest town, surrounded by glorious countryside.
