Help needed :- Landscaping assistance; Furniture restoration; Carpenter/building or domestic help

G'day
If our project interests you here, you are more than welcome. Please contact us about to arrange details. If you are travelling with a companion, they would be welcome here as well.

This is a project in ESK just outside Brisbane. Currently we are creating a very beautiful pond for frogs and native fish along with a native garden.

This project is renovating an old church and grounds for use as a community space - art shows, markets, gallery etc. This is not a religious project. There is an extensive workshop here with many tools.

Here the special skill required is the willingness to 'give it a go mate'.

Our biggest project at the moment is landscaping the grounds and the pond area.

If you would like to try wood carving then there are several big posts which can be carved.

Esk is a town which is 1 hour by road outside Brisbane. Esk has a population of 1000... more inside

We live mostly by ourselves but also keep two active, very busy offices at this address and 3 people work from the two offices. We teach courses in the field of Sustainable Design here and overseas. See our website for more info. If you have a look at the Photo library you will see some of our activities. Also have a look at this website via our blog link above which tells a little about an NGO we operate from here.

Hello everyone,

I have a large home not far from the beach on the Gold Coast.
It has two kitchen and a indoor pool. Its very comfy.
i want someone who wants to give me a hand to loose weight and a bit of gardening- not much
Prepare sensible meals - not fancy etc.

I would really encourage friendly caring type to apply.

There isn't much to do but what there is i want done in good grace.

At times maybe we will share a cuppa overlooking the best view on the Gold Coast.

Other times you may light the BBQ.

I require a few hours a day to cook and help me exercise - but i don't want anybody who rushes off if it takes them a few minutes longer.

You have weekends to yourself + pick another day if u wish.

Its pretty exciting wondering who might like to come stay with me.
Thanks for looking everyone

Great way for a group of friends to stay together. Stay for as long or as short as you wish. A mostly renovated house overlooking the beautiful Glen Rock in Brisbane Valley (Esk) needs some basic handyman work including painting, gardening and construction of garden walls. House is currently vacant and can house up to 4 people. Handyman skills are necessary. Esk is a semi-rural town 25 minutes to Gatton (seasonal fruit picking work available) and 1 hour to Brisbane.

We are a family partnership operating a beef cattle production across 3 properties in central and western Queensland. These are located at Theodore, Aramac and St Lawrence. We cultivate about 1000 hectares for grain and irrigate another 50 hectares under a centre pivot for fodder. We breed charolais, brahman and charbray cattle. These days we never seem able to get to many of the endless maintenance and development tasks that continue to present themselves. We welcome anyone, who feels they may be able to assist us, to come and share our lifestyle with us.
