This farm is an old dairy and piggery. We have been refencing, adding extra bores and doing major repairs and tidying up work. We are now very close to having organic(in conversion) eggs for sale. The chickens are moved along the contours of the property to fresh pasture regularly. We will be selling 1/4 's of beef, delivered to customers door. We have planted a small orchard with a wide variety of fruit, grow our own vegetables and have our own meat and chickens and obviously eggs. There are approximately 500 olive trees here which we hope will produce better next season. To produce high quality humified compost is also one of our long term goals. Milk is also on our to do list.

Nestled amongst rainforest, 300 metres from beach, 2 storey stone house, 3 bedroom. Currently i resident and 1 dog.
I work full time and need help with gardening, ride on mower for lawn mowing, painting and general clean up duties. This is a beautiful yet remote area, to look at where I am check out the Bloomfield Lodge site, do a video tour. A car would be necessary as there is not much public transport. Hitch hiking is unreliable.

There is no mobile phone, television or radio reception here. Internet and telephone by satellite, which is also unreliable.
So if you cannot handle isolation and living without your mobile phone or TV this is not the place for you.

Limited water supply, currently showering elsewhere.

Rooms have queen beds, ceiling fans, couple of single mattresses also available.

I have a ionic swimming pool, which is green, I have no time to maintain it.

having recently moved into the house, there is lots of things to do, but it is comfortable.

Help needed :- Landscaping assistance; Furniture restoration; Carpenter/building or domestic help

G'day
If our project interests you here, you are more than welcome. Please contact us about to arrange details. If you are travelling with a companion, they would be welcome here as well.

This is a project in ESK just outside Brisbane. Currently we are creating a very beautiful pond for frogs and native fish along with a native garden.

This project is renovating an old church and grounds for use as a community space - art shows, markets, gallery etc. This is not a religious project. There is an extensive workshop here with many tools.

Here the special skill required is the willingness to 'give it a go mate'.

Our biggest project at the moment is landscaping the grounds and the pond area.

If you would like to try wood carving then there are several big posts which can be carved.

Esk is a town which is 1 hour by road outside Brisbane. Esk has a population of 1000... more inside

We live mostly by ourselves but also keep two active, very busy offices at this address and 3 people work from the two offices. We teach courses in the field of Sustainable Design here and overseas. See our website for more info. If you have a look at the Photo library you will see some of our activities. Also have a look at this website via our blog link above which tells a little about an NGO we operate from here.
