Hi! We are a family of five, with children aged 10-18, and would love to meet people from other cultures who are keen to learn more about New Zealand. We have 1 hectare of gardens which includes a large vegetable garden, tennis court, animal paddocks (just chickens, an occasional pony and one cat)and have a lovely cottage on site. The cottage is open plan and includes a full kitchen and bathroom, two double beds, TV, wifi, pool table and peace and quiet but no laundry facilities (you can use ours). We'd love to give travelers the opportunity to visit our area, help in our garden and have a home-stay experience. At the moment we need help right away to weed, trim hedges and remove the large amount of large cuttings from our very large hedges. I am working in town at the moment and it is a very busy time of year, so at the moment I can only offer bed and self catered breakfast with the promise of a dinner when we are free.In exchange for bed and breakfast, we would like two hours ... more inside

We are a kiwi farming family with the 5th generation just arrived. Our farm consists of sheep, beef, cropping and a small amount of forestry.

I have wwoofed in the USA and now that I have returned home, I get to host! There is not a definite set of skills that we are looking for, we will make use of your skills, whatever they are.
We will however need help from some with arborist/forestry skills from September 2015 on to help prune/tidy up some old oak trees.

If you like the outdoors, have an interest in farming, appreciate nature, enjoy photography, like to eat healthy, enjoy socialising then this is a fantastic place to visit! We are all about working hard and playing harder!
We are into our snow skiing during winter and all types of boating and waterskiing during the summer and you will a always be welcome to come along.
We are a creative/artistic family (photography, all types of painting) I design and craft my own furnature.

We have a nice home just out of Christchurch, and would be happy to offer accommodation to travellers in exchange for a bit of work around our property.
Ideally you would happy to do some housework, cooking, and possibly be keen to get stuck into the garden with some light duties.
We are still close to amenities and have both Rangiora and Kaiapoi townships only 7kms away.
The Harris family consists of Chay, Shelley, Liam (11), and Joshua(8)
You would ideally need to have your own transport, unless you really want to chill-out for a few days or so.
We have Wifi at the house, and a Broadband connection, although being in the country its not that flash, but OK in the evenings.

We are on a lifestyle block 10 minutes from Rangiora and require a helping hand. Tasks vary from gardening, mowing lawns, landscaping, spraying, feeding animals (2 cows, 4 sheep, 2 cats), housework, cooking, cleaning, childminding, wood stacking and any other odd jobs at the time. We always have new projects on the go.

Our home is modern and we have a seperate unit for you with a double bed and seperate bathroom. Meals are shared with our family. We are a busy household with 3 small children (ages 3-7) so you will need to be child friendly and not mind the noise and chaos of 3 curious little people. Non smokers please. Wifi.

Are you an experienced horse person looking to work with top class horses? Had some trackwork experience? Willing to muck in with all horsey tasks? With a welcoming family? Then look no further!

Hey, my name is Mark Harris, and I run a yard just 30 minuets outside of Christchurch City centre. I have racehorses getting ready for this years races and am looking for someone with trackwork experience to come and help get them ready. I also breed my own and run a polo school so there is lots going on and the dogs, Baxter and Tutu are sure to come help you with the daily jobs. Day to day tasks include exercising large numbers of horses, mucking out, polishing tack, etc. (not forgetting riding on the beach, only 5 minuets away and just paradise, Baxter's best part of the day!). I am a qualified polo instructor so if you are up to it we will do some stick and balling on 'Tim' the Woo... more inside
