HELLO TRAVELLERS,

^^^ UPDATE ^^^
Staying in Sweden for now. NO need for any helpers.

I am looking for someone, male or female, who is interested in cooking and light house keeping, such as washing dishes, sweeping, dog walking etc. (about 3-4 hour/day or as much as you want!) in exchange for a free lodging in the south of Spain. There will be a lot of time and opportunity to enjoy the weather and everything that the nature of Andalucia has to offer.
Please be aware that this is not a farm stay. No milking of goats, No cleaning out barns and No olive picking all day... Just a little bit of housekeeping, mopping and sweeping.
If you are looking for heavy, sweaty, hard working, muscle-building labor, you have to find another place.

About us...A couple of middle aged folks, enjoying paragliding and quilting, we like to laugh, travel and drink some wine with good friends. Our two kids are in college in Sweden.
Unfortunately my wife has to spend most of her time abroa... more inside

Hello!

I'm Kike and I'm rebuilding a house in a small land in a town at Girona's coast (Costa Brava) "Sant Feliu de Guixols" about one hour from Barclona, 5 minutes from the sea and mountain around.

I'm trying to make a self-sustainable house, actually the house is ready to live in and I'm working with vegetable garden, chickens, wood for winter, solar water heating and so on...

I speak Catalan, Spanish, English, French and Italian.

We'll be working together about 5 hours a day 5 days a week with vegetable garden, wood, animals, building... and sharing the house works like cooking and cleaning, timetable can be flexible. I'll provide 3 meals a day and about sleeping you can choose on hammock or camping at garden.

I offer one week stay for one person at a time, as my place is not so big and would be difficult to organize work for more than two people.

Looking for a resilient person or couple from beg Sept. This is ideal for someone adventurous and independent, helpful and amiable, who is happy to live in a remote, wild part of Andalucia. I need someone who's happy to drive an old (manual transmission) van on a rough track and on winding mountain roads. For insurance purposes you need to be over 30 and under 70.

The accommodation for helpers is in a small stone house with its own kitchen area, double bed platform, and separate w.c & shower, with food and drink for self-catering. You can work 25-30 hours a week, when you choose. There's always plenty to do, but also you can have as much time off as you want. The property is off-grid, but has WIFI.

There is 1 friendly dog and 1 hen. There's always work, gardening, picking and cracking almonds, painting, general maintenance.

Most important - I need a driver over 30 who can take me down to the coast to do some shopping, collect the post, have a drink with friends etc.

Hola, We are Ginny and Terry and we are looking for a couple or two friends to help us with several building and maintenance projects.

We live in a cortijo, in a beautiful secluded valley with our three very friendly dogs plus any others that we happen to be fostering at the time, currently we had 8 dogs. We have a swimming pool, gazibo, Hot Tub, BBQ and shady dining and sitting areas as well as lots of sunny spots (all a little alternative!).

Whilst secluded we are only 1km from the picturesque, whitewashed Moorish village of Valor (15 mins walk along a good track) with shops, great bars and restaurants, bank, doctors etc.

Accommodation is in our comfortable and spacious yurt or our vintage VW Westfalia camper van which is close to our house. We cook, eat and socialise together and there is always food available if you fancy a snack between times. We cater for both meat eaters and vegetarians but sorry not vegans.

We don't require any experience, simply enthusiasm and a... more inside

This is a farm in the south of Spain; in Coin, Malaga. It has has been productive for the last 40 years and at the moment we produce about 3000k of avocados a year as well as a significant cuantity of mangos, citrus fruits, chirimoya lichi etc... For seven years it was maintained by a yogi along with two other farms. Seven years ago Seth joined in and in this time a lovely confidence has grown between them. We are Rosa, Seth and our son Sethi (9 years old) and daughter Leona (2 month). Recently Gabi and his son Nano (3 years old) have also joined our team. We are taking the farm towards a fully productive permaculture food forest with hundreds of new medicinal and edible plants and assemblies. The over-all goal of the farm is to evolve a healthy space, sustainable and productive. For this we abstain from all of the normal vices (meat, alcohol, etc...). My purpose is to organise a team to maintain the farm, fill the nursury with plants, make workshops and courses, and address, as a g... more inside

2 Houses situated on a mountain with fruit trees and other plants. Not sure of the size of the land approximatel 1/4 of acre but terraced on a mountain. Access is at the bottom of the land so need to be fit for walking up and down and carrying stuff. The beach & village are right below the house so a beautiful setting.
Most of the time I just need the occasional helper for a week or 2 as there are always jobs to be done here either clearing the land, mending fences, gardening or bits of DIY work & help in the house.

Hi, we are Dutch farmers in Spain, Extremadura. In this area formerly ran 14,000 goats. It is our dream to give the Finca again the function of a goat farm and to produce cheese and oil.

We just moved the farm to El Payo, Salamanca, where is a stable and a lot of terrain to herd the goats. El Payo is a quiet village surrounded by a beautiful forest, where we can herd the goats in the way we want: quiet and a lot of food.

We also live in El Payo, where we built a cheese-dairy and hopefully we soon will produce cheese. Small-scale and all organic!

At this moment we have 120 goats. We milk twice a day by hand and herd the goats whole day, with our 2 sheepdogs.

In the months January and February we could use help herding the goats. It is lovely to walk in the forrest or near the river! Always there is milking and cleaning stables.

We will, off course, supply bed and meals and free time to enjoy the place. We talk English, German, French, Spanish and Dutch.

We h... more inside
