House with little cottage. Liz and Alan are doing developing 2 1/2 hectares of garden editable and ornamental. In the future we will be building little sheds, laying paving, planting hundreds of plants around a pond and around the property.
Liz loves to experiment with cooking and baking and enjoys making an environment where travelers can relax in the kiwi lifestyle. The cottage is cozy and comfortable. The main house is welcoming. Beautiful and relaxing view over farmland through to water views. Liz traveled for eleven years when she was young and both Liz and Alan enjoy young travelers around their home.??

Peaceful semi-rural artist's home and large garden with fruit trees on the edge of town.

I am fixing and developing the property to make it able to be enjoyed by family and visiting helpers in future. The house is in the process of being repaired and the gardens are being reorganised and developed.

***If you have experience in carpentry or any building type skills, I have some house repairs that need a creative approach :-) ***

I'm needing self-motivated helpers who have practical skills to help me with whatever needs doing such as gardening, mowing lawns, house maintenance, building, painting, and many other odd jobs.

There is a small room with a single bed inside the house, a queen size bed and two single bunks in the back room of the house, and the caravan beside the house with a queen size bed.

Use house facilities, meals provided in exchange for 4-5 hours work a day*

*Some projects need full days of work to get things done, but then full work days are alw... more inside

We have backpacker accommodation on our farm & can find workers paid jobs near us , working on kiwifruit orchards .You will need a work visa & a IRD number & a bank number for that .
Also we have hill country farm & are often looking for helpers on the farm .There is 65 hectares of forestry, with the balance of it has sheep, beef, kiwifruit & avocado. We do our own forestry harvesting & have our share of old machinery on site. The farm has a 4km river boundary and there is trout to catch and 20km of tramping tracks. Most of our farming is organic, with some conventional methods used. Our family has farmed here for 75 years.

Currently looking for couples only with their own transport as we are 10 minutes out of town with no bus route.

We are a young (29/31) Kiwi and South African couple who have recently bought our first home here in NZ after traveling the world working on super yachts for the last 5 years. We jumped in the deep end and secured ourselves a farm/avocado orchard in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. We are loving the lifestyle it brings but would benefit greatly from a few extra hands and others to share it with, aside from our kittens and sheep.

The property runs onto the Wairoa river which makes for the perfect spot to relax on the rocks and beautiful swimming conditions in the summer.

We are very social and like to reward ourselves after a days work with good food and a drink. Louis, being South African is very handy on the Braai (BBQ) We eat simple, healthy food with lots of flavour. Totally open to you taking over the kitchen :-P

Jobs will vary, inside and out…Avocado tree ... more inside
