Graham, Cathy and Harriet(daughter) run a cattle grazing property out in the real outback Australia, about 800km west of Sydney. Get away from the rat race and become part of our family and work with us. We also run a tourism/accommodation enterprise and use alternate land management practices aimed at regenerative farming systems in the semi-arid rangelands. Plenty to do and we always appreciate helpers we have, especially if they are enthusiastic, motivated and fun.Main duties for the ladies would be helping out with the accommodation enterprise. Cleaning/cooking all the odd jobs that seem to never get done.
For the Men jobs would include gardening general handy man and sometimes helping out in the paddocks fencing etc..

Main activity is macadamia nut production.
In addition to that I have a few beef cows, chooks and the usual farm stuff.
The macadamia harvest runs from late March until September and is a very busy period. The months in between involve orchard maintenance, and other farm activities, such as maintaining fences, mowing, and harder stuff such as removing lantana and wattle regrowth, trying to establish timber trees on steep areas of the farm - all the usual things.
When I have spare time (rarely!) I do some maintenance work on my house - while it is comfortable, it could do with some painting and some landscaping.
