Hello!
We are a family of seven and we are looking for help for the summer when we only have part of the family at home: father, two older girls (17, 20 years old mother and the baby). You can be an individual or a couple. Preference is given to German speaking.
Mostly it is household help like preparing lunch or dinner, cleaning the apartment, driving girls to activities. We have a baby who is 6 months old, but you will not be a primary person to care for him.
We expect that you engage with the family and help to take care of the household when the father is working . You time will be quite flexible and you will have many opportunities to explore on your own.
We are located in a quiet village close to Freiburg and black forest. You can enjoy bike rides in the area and explore culture of Freiburg. It has a young University vibe and has theater and music events. We are also at the crossroads of three countries: Germany, Switzerland and France. You can explore all three while h... more inside

Ron sought refuge from the city in 2012 to become self-sufficient. Kathrin, experienced Wwooferin, recently decided to stay for a longer period and build a tiny house in Ron's garden. We are interested in a simple, ecological and sustainable lifestyle. We have no concrete ideological standpoint. Our gardening talents are a mixture of Permaculture, Sepp Holzer and autodictation. We also have a certified gardner that comes once a week who has an answer for nearly every question. We work to achieve self-sufficiency and the farm is 100% non-commercial. Ron is 41, single, loves cats & flowers as well as spontaneous disco parties in the garden. Kathrin, 35, also single, has many interests and especially loves books and music. Both share a developed taste for absurd humor.

We have 3 cats, 13 Chickens, 3 walking ducks

Work to do:harvesting food, preparing food for storage, dry rock walls, planting seeds/plants, making space for new animals, fences, carpentry

Hello happy Helpers,

we're a fun family of 4 that is going traveling August/September. We take care of my lively, yet lonely grandma (79 yrs), who lives 2 houses away from us. She is in good health for her age, but she needs some entertainment and support. During the time we are gone, we would need you to take over our tasks. We check on her every morning to measure her blood pressure, clean for her, do yard work, help her cook and go on walks. The rest of my family is also living in the same town and visiting her, but they are all working full-time. You will stay in our apartment while we are gone, which is just a few steps away from her house. The town we're living is called Schweigern (1200 people). It's about 1,5 hrs south of Frankfurt and 1 hr north of Stuttgart. The area is called Taubertal. Tauber is the name of the river running through it and tal = valley.
We require some basic german, as my grandma only speaks german. If you have a child, no problem, you can bring it.... more inside

Help on the hostel (room cleaning, laundry) And there is also work on ennobling the hostel (painting the walls), as well as there are rooms that need to be cleaned of old things. The work is not difficult. I will be very glad to your company and help.

On our small farm between Berlin and Hamburg we offer accommodation for nature lovers.
We could need help in the garden or with the fences. Also painting, help to fix the roof, building gates and paving could be part of your job. There are many possibilities to help us and as long as you are not afraid to make you hands dirty you are welcome. :)
You will have one of our guest rooms with own bath. You can use a bike and discover the surrounding with nice lakes, huge fields, castles and a lot of other nice spots you will find on your own. We also like to show you around and if you like you can be part of the family. Besides my mom and my sister there are 3 dogs, a cat, 3 sheeps and 4 horses. We eat and cook only vegan and would ask you to do the same while you are with us. It's still delicious! :)

in our project 3 families are living.
We try to make this land to a nice place for humans, all the little animals like bees and birds and don´t forget of course... the secret life of plants.
It´s beautiful to live here very close to the nature reserve and to the Baltic sea and go on forming and shaping the garden and our home.
We have a building site with ecological demands, a garden to grown our own vegetable, and many fruit trees (mostly apples)...
You are welcome to help on our building site as a bricklayer or a carpenter or just help us in the garden and with our daily routine with our children.
All kinds of handicraft is nice!

We live on a 200 years old historic listed farmsite, composed of four buildings around a large courtyard. Originally built by a rich farmer with dozens of helpers working on the farm it is now managed by just one family working and living here. We do have a main job (Veronica is a jurist and Andreas violinist in an orchestra) but all of our spare energy is directed towards sustainable renovation of the farm and regenerative agriculture. After ten years of working 24/7 we will be very happy to have some extra hands to get things done.

We are very much focused on natural building, using wherever possible natural materials such as cob, straw, sand, hemp and wood. We rent eco-apartments for farm holiday guests (mostly families with children) which we renovate ourselves. In 2017 we will be finishing one more apartment, a small shop for organic products (almost done) and a separate house for helpers. Then we will start to renovate a barn which we want to convert into an organic restau... more inside
