I bought an old farm and farmhouse where I live in Normandy, because I fell in love with the land. I have converted a cottage into a B&B with 4 bedrooms (all en suite) and the first barn into a gite. The next stage is to convert the next barn. I also have a Yurt and a campsite, chickens, geese, goats and 2 cats so far. With the accommodation and farm and further buildings to be converted, so I could always do with an extra pair of hands so skills can range from building, painting, cleaning, farming hay and generally mucking in! Someone with a sense of humour would be great. I enjoy music so you may find all sorts playing, from classical to Genesis or Roxy Music!
I can offer accommodation, meals and flexible hours.

Easy to find and get to .. .By train leave Paris at the Gare de St Lazare for Cherbourg. Get off at Lison station and I can meet you there!

We are a small French/ Chilean family with a small child. We travel a lot and we love meeting up new peoples. We both work full time in Geneva and with the arrival of our child we are really missing time to do any work in our house.

We have a big old farm we have been renovated for many years, the house is on a hill in a small village in haute savoie, 20 minutes from Annecy and Geneva. we have a small organic garden in summmer time and a small greenhouse.

We are very flexible and open to any offer related to cleaning, organising the house, cooking and baby sitting for these coming months.

For the months of June, July and August, we would actually need the help of someone having skills in gardening to help out with the garden and greenhouse and in woodcraft /carpentry to continue renovation in the old barn (simple tasks like make two gateways, a shutter, a wood panelling etc.)We have all tools at our place.

3 days of work or 24 hours of work per week spread anytime duri... more inside

Hello All

We are a family of four. My wife, Louiza and I with our two children.

We have a small 20 hectare farm where we farm with Soay sheep (ancient breed that resembles to the wild mouflon sheep race). We also farm with wallabies. Apart from that we have large tracts of land with forests that need cutting and thinning out. Also we need to enclose more land with fencing and do some general renovation work on our farm.

We are aiming to have an eco friendly farm where visitors can come and stay for a few weeks. We are in the process of renovation our second farm house with natural materials and ecologically...not building with cement but chalk and sand, etc.

My wife has a beauty salon in town and spends her days there. I take care of the farm and try to advance by renovating and upgrading our farm. We sometimes just do not have the time for everything and a helping hand would be very much appreciated. I speak fluent English, German and Dutch. My wife is fluent in English... more inside

I have stables with about 25 horses, who live outside and inside.
I look for a helper, who can look after these horses, with me, feed them, bring them outside, if they are inside, etc...
Also there can be some fences to remove or repaie.
It can represent about two hours help each day.

My farm is situated in the South of France, near Toulouse and Albi.

My helper will rest in own room, with all conveniences.

Hi helpers from the world! My name is Jean Luc! I'm 57 years old and Cathy ( my wife ) is too. We have a daughter who is 28 and a son who is 24, and they complete our family. We were born and have lived here in Saint Cernin as organic farmers for the last 30 years.

Please take a moment to watch this quick video to learn more about our farm!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7VL1G0g-YY or see it on our website

We are on HelpX and have been hosting volunteers since 2007 (11 years and counting!), not only because we need as many helping hands as we can get, but also because we love meeting diverse and intersting people. It's very important for us to communicate with others about the danger of non-natural food, the disappearing of our trade (small, local farming), and share the joys and rewards of our magnificent occupation as organic farmers!

Our farm is located in the charming and quiet departement of Lot, in the southwestern region of France. Our farming practies are very ... more inside

Helpers welcomed - couples, singles or friends - IMMEDIATELY and throughout the summer 2018.

Hi there, we are Helen and Phil (an English couple) and we're looking for lots of help with our on-going renovation and organic garden project near Lac de Lavaud on the Charente-Limousin border in France, 40 minutes west from Limoges.

We are looking for a couple of strong guys or girls (lol or one of each) to help us clear a site for a decked area, filling it with rubble (which we have on site) and marking out...in readiness for our little pool! We need this work done very soon.

There's loads of work to help us with now that spring is officially here. We need people who can happily spend some time helping Phil repointing ancient stonework with a lime/sand mix. There are logs to be cut and stacked and the barn needs to be cleared a bit ready for a new log pile....and maybe some pointing work and painting indoors if it rains.

I'm also trying my hand at organic veggie gardening ... more inside

I have a traditional small fermette in a beautiful river valley in mid-France. I am English (but my dog is French) and I want to have sheep, chickens, a place to allow people to study (converted barn) and experience the tranquillity and proximity to nature. It is truly the most wonderful place to experience a peaceful way of life. At night there is no light pollution and the only sounds are singing frogs, nightingales, crickets and owls! You will sleep in a charming vintage caravan and have the choice of self-catering or eating with me (or a mixture of both.) I will take you out to eat in a restaurant once a week. I can cater for alternative diets. There is also a lovely covered outdoor area which you can use. I need all sorts of help with gardening, re-creating an old farm pond, building work, tree planting and so on. I speak English and French and understand a little Italian, German and Dutch. I work with a Flemish speaker who can translate if necessary.
Well behaved dogs are welc... more inside
