I need someone who is a gardener. Who can change the current garden into an interesting one through innovative ideas and hard work. You will need to dig, plant, lift slabs or whatever we decide to use.

I would like you to help changing beds and cleaning the B and B every few days but we don't do that all that often.

The room you will have is ensuite with stunning views out to Skye Bridge, The Cuillins on Isle of Skye and to Raasay.Your room overlooks beautiful Lochalsh.

I would like you to work 6 hours a day and I will provide meals breakfast and dinner.

You may also have an opportunity to find work in the local area if you would like to. Some of the local pubs have traditional music and quiz nights and can be fun if you are interested in mixing with the locals.

HI, we are a very friendly and warm Irish born family with three children aged 11,10 and 6, living in the heart of Scotland in Highland Perthshire. We love animals and have a fab wee Border Terrier a Tonkinese cat and 4 hens.

Aberfeldy is a small and interesting artisan town set in the most stunning valley which is described as being 'a fit vestibule for heaven'. It is known for its beauty, water sports, lochs and mountains. Aberfeldy is 7 miles from the stunning and tranquil loch Tay and 1 hour from the ski resorts. Ben Lawers mountain range and the mystical Schiehallion mountain are amongst many Monroes nearby. The town hosts its own sell out festival in early November, birthed and directed by my husband Ryan. Many come from all over for the music, poetry, and literature. This quaint town is a very social and friendly place and has a choice of award winning cafes, restaurants, galleries, cinema, delis, farmshop and large bookshop from converted old mill. All amenities are wi... more inside

Home renovation - assistants needed

We are in the process of renovating a former church hall in a small village at the edge of the Dumfries and Galloway National Park.

We are looking for people to come and lend a hand with building work in exchange for a place to stay and food.

We live in a quiet village, shops and bus routes into Ayr and Glasgow. We also live with our small dog and often go walking, camping and take our little canoe out on the weekends, for which you will be more than welcome. Katey is also a keen forager and happy to share knowledge of native plants and edible foods.

Working day is usually 9.30 am - 5pm but will change depending on the nature of work being carried out. All levels of skills wanted from painting work to plastering and paining. You will be working with Nick who has lots of experience and can show you what to do.
It's dirty work but worth it for the great location.
Short and long stays welcome.

Help in some repair job and organise project in Aberdeen.

Few odd jobs here and there within our home. Example of these are - organise / rearrange the storage unit; relocate the internet router along with its LAN wire to a location which provides an optimum coverage for the entire flat, change the lockset for room doors, cleaning of windows, minor home repairs, etc.

In addition, we are also starting a new project to coordinate / orgainse a small restoration / repair project in the city. To start off with to verify layout and dimensions of the building internal areas; inventorising existing furniture, fittings, electrical goods, and all existing items in the building; work along and liaise with building designers, contractors and supplier for the proposed restoration / repair works; etc

I am a teacher of English as a foreign language taking some time off to do some more creative things. One of which is to renovate our family's flat in Edinburgh. I have one dog, who is a beautifully behaved Beagle cross Bulgarian street dog. Also in the country my family has sheep, ponies and other animals. There may be a possibility of work there too, in the Scottish Borders, helping with lambing for example.
I am friendly, active and outgoing, I like going out to listen to live music. I have two grown up daughters and an extensive family around the world. I speak fluent Italian and am learning Spanish.
The flat is in the middle of a beautiful part of the city centre with a friendly local community. It is near to the Meadows, a large area of tree lined avenues and open grass fields. The flat is in need of some repairs needing carpentry skills, plasterwork, wallpapering and the painting of walls, ceilings and woodwork. The painting is already underway. There is also a shared garde... more inside

Hello, my husband and I live 3hrs North of Edinburgh, and 20min North of Inverness (Loch Ness) and have two children, the oldest child born July 2010 and the youngest child born Feb 2012. We are a very relaxed household and live on a family run farm.
We are looking for help with childcare, changeover of a 2bed Holiday Let and organic gardening in return for meals and accomodation. We can offer a very comfortable room with a super-king bed, TV/DVD, wireless internet and an en-suite bathroom.
We hope to find help from April 2016 - Sep 2016, for 2 month up to a year stay.
My husband is a manager on the farm and is very hands on with every aspect. As a family we are very keen on conservation and enjoy planting trees and creating native habitats. My interests include cooking, Contemporary Art, plants, practicing yoga and enjoying long walks daily. We generally live a simple life and enjoy growing vegetables in our polytunnel & garden.
We over look the Cromarty Firth and have beaut... more inside
