NO HELPERS NEEDED AT THE MOMENT.

Bed and Breakfast helper.

We live in a unique setting on the sea shore. Located on a beautiful, rural island off the West coast of Ireland. Visiting Clare island is like stepping back in time and to immerse yourself in a natural and pristine environment. We are a small community of 150 people living on this beautiful rock in the Atlantic...

From May onwards the indoor work will be in the mornings helping with breakfast service, cleaning the rooms and laundry. We only have 4 rooms so you will be free to explore the island the rest of day once work is done.

If you like nature and the outdoors then you will love Clare Island. The weekends are busy here in July/Aug with lots of live music and events. Traditional music sessions on Tuesdays, singer songwriter nights on Thursdays and bands on Fridays and Saturdays. Check out www.clareisland.info for events.

You will have your own room living on the seashore with us. Please get in touch fo... more inside

We will be looking for help in the spring, April on words. Building dry stone walls around the garden. We would be happy to teach helpers how it's done, the traditional way, laying some slabs and helping in the garden with weeding, planting and that kind of thing. Or indoor painting and decorating if it's raining. We live on the west coast of Ireland in an old farm house which we renovated. There is fantastic surf, close to the see. Beautiful walks and five minutes from our little village .The house is warm and comfortable with a double bed room with it's own bathroom and private living room, suitable for a couple. Food plays an important role in our life. We love to cook, grow our own vegetables and raise a lot of our own meat or get it locally from organic and free range farmers. We are on the main road on the bus route to all the nearest towns. We hope helpers might stay a week or so.

We are a family with two young kids (3years and an 8month old), an acre of land, a polytunnel and a very hyper growing puppy called Rufus. Tessa owns and runs a health food store in Ennistymon, studied printmaking and plays the mandolin. Hein is South African and is a chef and a jack of all trades.

We enjoy gardening and having a nice space for the kids to see and learn about growing and building etc. We have a health food store in Ennistymon which keeps us busy so helpkeeping our garden happy would be appreciated. We're interested in growing food for flavour and nutrition. We like having interesting plants that you can't usually get fresh and organic like aubergine, peppers, interesting tomato varieties and wacky fruits.

The caravan is pretty small but it is very clean, damp-free and fully functional. The hours expected are 4hours 5days a week in exchange for good and accomodation. The work is mainly gardening, watering and mowing but some hours house cleaning is also asked.... more inside

We live in a house that was built by our family in 1789, it runs as a tillage farm in co.kildare an hour south of dublin. the grounds around millbrook are in need of attention as we have not had gardeners for several years.
We are looking for people to help in and around the house which could include painting walls etc. I am a sculptor and occasionally need some studio help..Our work hours are very flexible as indeed are most days as I am not running a business. Apart from the farm which my husband runs with his son. We have 3 horses any number of hens, peacocks and of course 2 dogs.
Anyone volunteering would be very much part of the family and stay and live as we. In general we prefer two friends or a couple as they keep each other company during the day, but if you are the type that loves their own company you would also be happy here.
Dublin ,the capital city is only 60 minutes by train so there is always opportunity to spend a couple of days there. Southwards there is the be... more inside
