We are a farmstay accommodation facility set in the tranquil countryside known as Strath Creek. We are nestled in the "Valley of 1000 Hills" with some of the best views Victoria has to offer. Our farmstay is a a relaxed environment with various activities that requires daily/weekly attention. From collecting eggs (seasonal), feeding the ducks and chickens and letting out and putting away each day to gardening and pruning and maybe some supervised horse feeding each day.
We do not have any children to look after! Ideally we would prefer people with traveling partners (Friends or couples, ) as we feel that they are better suited to our type of place and keep each other company.(We would also like that at least one can understand and speak some basic English). Please note, email us your HelpX details before calling.
But lets not forget our motto:
Eat when you are Hungry,
Sleep when you are tired and
Drink when you are thirsty!
We hope to hear from you soon !

We have a fully self-contained bungalow available in Preston, separate to the main house, with own entrance. Own kitchen, bathroom, lounge room and wi-fi. Close to tram stop and train station.

We are a family with 3 children, 10, 9, and 4 who are all home-schooled. In exchange for accommodation and bills, we would like help with our family 5 hours a day, 4 days a week. In addition, we would require a weekly cleaning of the house.

Ideal for an individual or couple that loves children, and are creative, self-motivated, and committed. Health is important to our family, as is open, non-violent communication. A longer stay, 1 plus months would be preferable, but not necessary.

I write and work in television production, and my partner is a naturopath who runs a home-based business.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Simple abode in St Kilda

It is walking distance and easy access to Windsor Station, St Kilda Beach, tram stations and all other amenities ...

My home is a one bedroom apartment with one living space for a like-minded individual

I am a 30-ish year old IT professional who enjoy chilling after work, cooking dishes, watching Netflix, and hanging out in a bar/pub.

I am looking for someone who is open-minded who pretty much enjoy the things I have mentioned above. I also like someone who enjoy fitness as I've decided to go back to fitness. It's a bonus if you enjoy fitness as well so we can go exercise or do outdoor activities together.

You can stay at my place for free and we can share meal together provided you're not vegetarian :). We will be sharing the house but you will have your own mattress.

You must also enjoy travelling, chilling out and unwinding in pubs, going out of town, camping over the weekend, or just simply watching tv/movies.

Thanks very much... more inside

We have a 26 acre farm, 2.5km from the centre of Beechworth. We eat seasonally from our garden which provides us with most of our vegetables and eggs. We practice the Australian Demeter Biodynamic Method. Our current home garden has been influenced by Linda Woodrow's "The Permaculture Home Garden". This summer we plan to sell some seedlings and vegetables. We will start building a strawbale house in Summer 2017. We will also be working to set up a market garden that will be approximately 2 acres in size.

Help needed includes all aspects of vegetable growing (preparing beds, sowing seeds, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, preserving and seed saving) and general farm work (eg fencing, setting up and maintaining irrigation and infrastructure). We have 2 creeks from which we are currently removing blackberries and weeds. If interested and skilled, we would also like help to build a strawbale house and yurt with living roofs. As we are establishing a working farm, some work may be ... more inside

This is a small horse property located in South West Victoria. We run a small riding school for people with disabilities (fb: All Abilities Equestrian). We work with young horses and have a vaulting team. We offer helpx opportunities to people who are experienced horse riders or have a vaulting background. I currently have two young horses under saddle that need to be ridden and given general life experiences. We also have three vaulting horses that need to be lunged and worked with every day (fb: Van Someren Equestrian Vaulting).
With the weather just about to fine up we have a bit of weeding and a vegie garden and an orchard that need a bit of attention. I have a shoulder injury which is making life a bit hard for me and limiting what I can do, so any help would really be appreciated. I normally do all the gardening and weeding but am not aloud to touch the spade at the moment.
We are interested in hosting confident, self-driven people who want to be a part of a busy family li... more inside

Hi, my name is Bronwyn and I live in the lovely, quiet hamlet of Glenlyon.

Glenlyon is one hour from Melbourne and 10 minutes from the tourist town of Daylesford where there are mineral springs, wineries etc. You can travel via car or public transport to reach me. If needed I can pick up from Melbourne and drive you back there. I can also pick up from public transport nearby.

My house is quite new and my land is half an acre in size (0.2 hectare). I would like help with spreading mulch, planting, weeding or spraying. Other work could include staining the deck (verandah) and a bit of cleaning. You do not need to have any experience but need to be happy to learn how to do these things, and be strong enough to wheel a wheelbarrow. We work for 4-6 hours per day. If you work quickly and thoroughly you will have more free time. If you work very slowly, you will work longer. There will be set jobs that need doing, so finishing the jobs is important.

I prefer helpers who are 26 y... more inside

We are 50 minutes from Melbourne by train and 10 minutes drive to the top of Mt Dandenong and near Yarra Valley. I will need help with cleaning a single bed and breakfast cottage between 12 noon and 2pm. This includes making beds vacuuming and cleaning a spa and shower and restocking food supplies, etc. This is needed an average of 4 days per week which will include Saturday and Sunday most likely. Additionally I will need the lawns mowed weekly on a ride-on mower which most people love. I also want to start planting a veggie garden and general garden weeding and maintenance. I like a total of around 20 hours per week from each person and these jobs can be managed by one person. Other jobs to make up the hours could be cleaning the main house or other cleaning, maintenance or gardening jobs. For helpers with the right skills I also have large gardens and could accomplish planting out new garden beds, starting vegie gardens, building works, tree pruning, mulching and many small main... more inside
