We operate 5 Owner- built chalets in a natural forest setting on an inlet frontage. There is a woodworking workshop on site.
We are 3 kms. from Denmark town. We expect people to assist with preparing our bush property for summer. This will involve hand tools, ie a rake.

Spring is a beautiful time to be here in the forest, with abundant wildflowers and bird life.
We are close to beautiful beaches and forest bushwalks. The TREE TOP WALK is 35 minutes away by car.Denmark is 50kms west of Albany, on the South coast.
Autumn is a busy time in the forest, and help is often needed.
We will provide some meals and the use of bicycles for your stay. We are building a passive solar house, so there is an opportunity for some involvement with this project.

Our family run a small farm with ex-commercial fruit orchard, sheep and milking goats. We have 3 children, aged 11, 9 and 5. We have a caravan with one double bed. Jobs to be done on farm now include fencing, maintaining vegie patch, gardening, home maintenance, child minding, handling goats, making cheese/soap etc and horses and ponies to play with! There is also the potential to do some building work with a strawbale shed in progress (frame up....and cellar being dug, not up to putting up walls for a bit :( We live along a river and there are bushwalks and wineries nearby in our lovely area! TransWA bus runs right past our door from Perth with pickup half a km up the road. Stays from one week with longer stays if all works out!
4-6 hours work a day, but very flexible, all meals included.
Would best suit couple.
We cannot help with second year visas.

We run a Sheep station 30 km from a town called Mt Magnet(300km east of Geraldton) in the Murchison region of Western Australia. Busy times are october to March, with maintenance carried out for the rest of the year. We are currently running 2,500 merino sheep and a similar number of rangeland goats on 100,000 hectares. Most stock work is done in the summer months which can be hot for days at a time. People wanting to stay to experience the pastoral industry are welcome, being able to share in cooking and other jobs around house is a necessity.Helping out around the station will include stock work and checking and fixing of windmills and fences, plus work in the garden and some maintenance on house and quarters.
Use of a vehicle for your stay can be arranged and having the ability to drive a manual vehicle or motorbike is considered favourable.
Accomodation is in the house at this stage and there is access to internet though is limited due to download restrictions.

My partner Anne and I are professional and practical Aboriginal people. We live in Balginjirr a small remote Aboriginal community near the Mardoowarra (Fitzroy R) in the Kimberley region of north-western Australia.
We established a small not-for-profit NGO and have built a wilderness centre near our community. We are starting a wild harvest program to gather bush foods to help supplement the communities finances. In 2017 we will complete the painting and other finishing touches of the wilderness centre and start a vegie garden to supplement the communities food and sell any surplus to help community finances. Please contact me if you would like an experience with Aboriginal people in a remote tropical rangelands savannah environment. The main town for accessing our community is through the beautiful multicultural pearling town Broome, which is another lovely experience to have. We look forward to hearing from you.

We live on a uniquely secluded, peaceful lifestyle property with an extensive garden, surrounded by natural forest, with a small orchard and no commercial activities.
We use virtually no chemicals on the property.
Most of the work is garden maintenance and housework, with the occasional interesting project such as a rock wall or fish pond, etc.
Right now we want to complete a fish pond with a fountain and waterfall cascade using granite slabs - a most interesting project and one we need some help with.
Two bedrooms are available, both with double beds.
We also run a BnB, so occasionally have guests at the weekend.
About 35 mins from Perth CBD, our nearest town is Kalamunda, about ten minutes away.
Preference is for couples (or pairs) who are transport-independent, because public transport is deficient.
Some gardening experience would be useful.
We are semi-vegetarian and eat meat only a couple of times a week.
Non-smokers preferably, please!

Hello out there! We would like the help of two English speakers with a vehicle for about two weeks sometime between mid-April and May.
You would stay upstairs in our rammed earth and timber house, with your own bathroom downstairs, and share the rest of the house and the wi-fi with us.
Since we retired from work in Perth we have been living in this lovely, wilder place and travelling when we can, so we enjoy the company of young travellers as well as appreciating your help. Brian was a university professor of Australian History, and I was a language teacher, so am happy to help you improve your English if you want.

We would like you to work for 4 or 5 hours a day for 5 days out of 7 (days and times off negotiable). Jobs could include wood-oiling, leaf-raking, scrubbing the decks or bird-baths, digging, weeding, tree or bulb planting, mulching, collecting and chopping firewood . . .
And we always appreciate being lent a hand around the house with the odd bit of cleaning or ... more inside
