Single mum of 2 gorgeous boys. 4 and 7. 1 is at school full time and the other is in childcare as I work full time as a manager. I have travelled all over the world and also worked in other countries and as an Au Pair. I am looking for someone who loves kids, willing to kick a soccer ball, pick up my kids from school and help till i return from work. If you are confident in the kitchen and would enjoy helping with evening meals that would be great. Light house work would be great but my main priority is my children. I am very flexible and happy to work with you to come to an arrangement that works for both parties. The boys stay with their dad every second weekend. All weekends free and happy to go on adventures with you and show you around. I grew up hosting exchange students and have been one also. You would be welcomed as part of my family. I enjoy sport and hiking too.
You will have your own room and share a bathroom with the children.
Happy for short stays or slightly longer... more inside

My partner Anne and I live on a large forested property with an abundance of wildlife,15 km from the township of Deloraine, Tasmania. I am a potter and Anne is a B&B host.

We live in a self-made house built from local mud, stone and timber, and keep a small vegetable garden.

Work to be done around the property includes mowing, firewood cutting and carting, weed management, building, house cleaning,
cooking, track maintenance and much more.

At times help is required in and around the Pottery. This can include kiln wood management, clay preparation, cleaning, and whatever might be required at any particular time.

We expect an average of 4 hours of work per day, 6 days per week. You won't need to spend any money on food when you are with us, and you will be very comfortable. Help-X guests cook on alternate nights for the household, and take care of all there breakfast and lunch food.

Hi my name is Kyron. I'm 33 years old and have been living on Bruny Island in Southern Tasmania for the past 10 years. The island is divided into 2 parts connected by a narrow strip of land. My property is located on the South Island in Simpsons Bay and faces out over the bay looking towards the Tasman Peninsula. Bruny Island is a stunning location which offers opportunities for walking, photography, bike riding, swimming, snorkeling and bird watching.

The island is about 100km from top to bottom so a car is advisable but there is a bike available for you to use, the locals are very friendly and hitch hiking is safe and common. I am also very happy to show you the island when time permits. I love hiking, camping, fishing and diving and try to get out as much as possible to explore the beautiful place I live in and would be more then happy to take any visitors along with me.

I am currently renovating a 1920 post office and need help with this project. The main jobs are plaste... more inside

Hi, we are a family of three, Lavina, Chloe (aged 10) and Russell living off the grid with our stand alone power system. Our property in Lorinna Tasmania is a 50acre bush block with beautiful Blackwood and Eucalypt forest with creeks and waterfalls. Lorinna is located near Cradle Mountain on the eastern banks of Lake Cethana which is popular for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Living remotely, (our nearest town Sheffield is a one hour drive), we live as sustainable as we can. We grow food and buy from local organic farms and harvest water from rain and near by creeks and compost. The compost toilet is a marvel , the sun provides our power and hot water and our wood stove cooks our food as well as heats the house.

For past 4 years we have been establishing property with building our home, making gardens and fencing and dams. The goats, chickens, cat and dog make up your family but there is still much to do and we would like you to join us and help with the day to day projects incl... more inside

We have recently returned to beautiful Tasmania. We spent one year living in Laos and backpacking through Europe for 12 weeks with our 5 year old daughter. We have recently bought a big 100 year old federation house in the picturesque town of Scottsdale. We would love for some like minded folk to help us with gardening and painting as the house needs some love. In return for your help you will have your own room, comfortable bed and share some meals. In your time off there is plenty to do and explore. Beaches, waterfalls, history and fresh wide open spaces. We are a 45 minute drive to Launceston and an hour away from the beautiful East Coast. We are an open minded, artistic and musical family.

We live within walking distance from the river and the city. We are a family of five(3 young children). Someone who loves to spend time with kids is very much preferred.

Two of my kids just started Chinese school and would appreciate someone that can speak Mandarin to them, I am the only one at home that can speak mandarin to them and it's not working very well !

We need someone for 4 hours a day to help us with household chores and gardening after 8 March for at least two weeks, also someone that can cook so we can taste your favourite dishes.

You have your own room, and you can see stars from the windows when lying down in your bed at night or in the backyard.

If there is an activity nearby our area, we are happy to bring you along during weekdays and weekends. The latest event we brought our helper to was to a Jazz festival and also to watch a play in the playhouse theatre.

Please contact us if you are interested!
