Looking for help anytime...

We are an easy going German/English combination couple who have bought an "aldea entera" which translates to "entire village" of 5/6 houses (I must add that it doesn't have a pub, shop and post office etc), more like it a tiny hamlet with some ruins.
we are looking for help to renovate the property, jobs would include, cleaning the land, help in the forest, pointing, tiling, electrics, plumbing, painting, carpentry, roofing and much more. At least one skill would be useful for us ie carpenter, builder, plumber, electrician etc. If you think you can help us with any of the above then please get in touch

We want to turn the "little village" into some form of rural tourism, the property is about 25 minutes from Viveiro on the north coast of Galicia, the area is very rural but with good access and beautiful... some Spanish could be useful but not essential.

note: we don't eat and therefore don't cook meat or use diary products, we are not vegan as w... more inside

Help needed ASAP 100-year-old townhouse reaching end of phase one renovation in this attractive Spanish town. Helpers who can plaster, tile and paint, or want to gain experience with a retired professional builder, very welcome - there's a rush to finish off before end of June latest. All sorts of work, from physically moving stuff to solving challenges, trying to renovate with a light hand to keep the original qualities.

Velez is a lovely place to visit, with good coach service to the coast at Motril (COSTA TROPICAL) and to Granada for explorers, and is popular with walkers and cyclists. It has excellent pavement cafes and social life and is not primarily a tourist town, although the residents are very friendly to visitors.

We are a large British family living in a breathtaking spot in the mountains of Spain with views out over the Mediterranean towards Ibiza (we are situated midway between Valencia and Alicante). We live in a wooden solar and wind-powered house.

Phil and Jo (a teacher and musician) are just turning 50 and have 5 children between the ages of 11 and 21 (the oldest is now studying music in England). We speak English at home, but all of us speak good Spanish and the 'parents' speak French, German and Russian as well.

We have an organic smallholding (horses, goats, donkey, chickens, rabbits, fruit trees and vegetables).

We are looking for individuals or couples to stay for free in return for help around the house, with the animals and vegetable garden. There will also be some building and gardening projects. We expect 5 hours honest work a day in return for full board and accommodation, but are flexible as to how and when that work is done.

The accommodation is in a caravan... more inside

CURRENTLY NOT HOSTING THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Greetings helpers!

My name is Pol (29), I'm a mountain guide and tour guide part time, while most of my time I'm a permaculturist.
Moving towards a sustainable way of living in connection with nature is what I'm working for, and I'm constantly learning new things and expanding my boundaries.

I live with my wife in a small stone house that I built myself in this beautiful property next to the natural park of montsant, with great views to the mountains and the sea at the end.

The tasks are very varied and fun, we've got a bit of everything here really and we are flexible with timings, always trying to avoid the hot hours in summer.
It's mostly hard work like any farm, taking care of trees, building stone walls, carrying things around and building and fixing stuff, besides looking after the hens and the veggie garden which will keep us well fed!
We grow olive trees and we make our own olive oil, almonds and hazelnuts in the farm.... more inside

We are a family who lives in a town near Barcelona (15 minutes by train). The town is Teià, close to the sea and to the mountain, so you have plenty of things to do here. We have 2 daughters (6 and 5 years old). The dad works in pharma in Barcelona and the mom works in marketing & communications, sometimes at home. The girls go to the school till 4.30pm but after that they want to play a lot!
We usually like to go to the beach (we like to windsurf!), to meet other families, to walk across the mountain, to play padel and some weekends we travel to the Costa Brava.
We are an open minded family, the parents have traveled a lot before the girls, now is not that easy :)

We are looking for an interesting person who wants to spend some weeks with us, even months, who likes kids a lot (it's a must!) and who would help us to take care of our girls. The help would be mostly to spend a few hours during the afternoon with the girls, help with the shower time, and get dinner with them. We a... more inside

My name is Martina, I'm 41 and I moved 2 years ago to a house in the countryside in Castilblanco de los Arroyos, a town 30 minutes by car from Seville, at Sierra Norte Natural Park´doors.

I've created a cultural association in order to run an art residency for artists from all over the world to come and find synergies with Seville's cultural life and local artists through ecology and nature awareness. My art residency guidelines are degrowth, ecology, social issues, human rights, woman's rights and social awarness.

I'm looking for open-minded, respectful and hardworking people that enjoys eco-lifestyle and nature to help me with different tasks:

1) Short stays (from 2 weeks on) to work and care for the organic vegetable garden and if possible rebuilding a fence/wall in the backyard (1800 square metters) and making some chill out spaces with natural/recicled materials. Hello

We are a couple running a small and family winery of txakoli in the mountains of Arana valley. This a really preserved and beautiful place near to the fairy and mystic mountain of Ernio. The farm is in the way to the town of Alkiza.
This is one of the smallest and cutest village of whole gipuzkoa. There start plenty of forest and mountain trails to Ernio and different places. As well, there is a post office, bank and a couple of traditional basque food Restaurants. The area is really nice to enjoy nature, fell peace and relax of the city life. In stead of this, the place is 20 min by car of the city of San Sebastián, homeplace of the gastronomy in the Basque country and nice beachs to surf or lay down. There are also a lot of cultural options.

Me (Xabier), I'm working in the vineyards douring the day. I take care about all the vineyard and the winery needs. There is also plentty of work to do in the vineyards and the farm helping with the house keeping. Maritza, our li... more inside
