Hello,
I'm Brigitte, I'm working as a software engineer, also involved in psychology (personal development), respectful parenting and ecology.
I live in a big house about 15km from the Mediteranean sea, in Maritim Alps, so not far from mountains too. There is also a nice cat living here.
I'm looking for help with home improvement and gardening - but for discovering new people and sharing as much as for help.
I speak french and english, I eat organic food. No alcohol, no smoking.
Experience in DIY welcomed.
Hope to meet you soon!

I am a classical guitarist and Raphaelle is an avid gardener and passionate about healing with traditional methods using herbs and plants. As summer arrives, we begin to make plans for the "belle saison". Fruit and vegetables will soon be growing in our newly reorganized permaculture raised beds. We have beehives and a produce honey.

The summer months are also taken up with tending to the guests at our home in Les Milles and running off to the flats in Niolon to welcome holiday makers on Saturdays. Usually that means spending a sunny afternoon at the sea too. Besides work in the garden there will be ordinary maintenance work to do, and some housework.

We are not looking for helpxers who want to spend a couple of weeks right now. We're looking for people who would like to spend a good part of the summer, from say sometime in June till beginning of September for example. You've got your own room and bath and a separate kitchen for the times when you have your meals on ... more inside

We have bought an old Provencal village house in the gorgeous perched village of Bonnieux (about 45 minutes east of Avignon). The house has extraordinary views from nearly every room and from the charming private terrace. We are looking for help as follows:

- CLEANING - cleaning grout (walls and floors) and thorough cleaning of kitchen and rest of house.

- STONEMASON - help with repointing the stone walls in our caves. We can show you what to do!

Your hosts are two Australians in their early 50s who are living the French dream for a few years. We love good food, travelling, etc and have lived in Bonnieux for a few years.

You will have your own private bedroom with ensuite or private bathroom.

Please - no applications from people wishing to learn French. We are struggling with the language ourselves so we cannot help others! No smoking, no drugs. No children. Fluency in English is a must.

Unfortunately, we cannot cater for vegetarians.

Please also note that... more inside

LOOKING FOR AN IMMEDIATE START till Mid July !
We live on a typical South of France 'Mas' which is an old farmhouse which became our family home 20 years ago.
5 minutes walk to the village. Great garden with pool and annexes, like a pigeon house (converted to hamman) big barn and an olive grove. You can share the Mehari car (collectors Citroen jeep) if need a break from the really hard work we expect ! :))
Looking for people who have a sense of humour, ready to roll their sleeves up and get stuck into the job of preparing the house and grounds for summer rentals, like gardening, painting and a big clear up.
Finally, here's hoping you can cook as we'll take it in turns. Welcome to South of France!

We are a family of 4(& many pets) living in the beautiful rural village of Murs within the National Luberon Park, Provence. We are currently in the process of renovating our home, creating a landscaped garden, building a courtyard, clearing our forest and carrying out work in our horses paddocks. We would be grateful of help with a wide variety of tasks which consist of general DIY, gardening, dry stone wall building, forest clearing etc. and therefore our volunteers ideally would have some experience in using tools and gardening equipment/machinery. We would like to invite you to come and eat and drink with us at family meal times. In return we offer a comfortable independent fully furnished cottage and in return we ask for about 4-5 hours work each day. If you feel you are able to help, please do contact us for further information. Additional paid works may also be available.

we are a bicultural xl- family, there is always work at home. 2 eldest kids are studying now very far from home , but come home sometimes. So , their rooms are free very often, we might take part in Airbnb or other company soon and rent their rooms occasionnally. Lots of work to prepare to be in a correct shape for that. Both parents have heavy working schedules and family logistics is a big matter, bringing up our kids in a respectfull manner, accompany them on their way, be there for them, takes all our time and energy . Generally, we prefere to have helpers in the period from january-june, we might consider autumn as well. As a result of lack of time ( and money) there is really a lot of (renovation) work to do around the house now.

Our next projects :

We have to construct a wall 30m long and 2 high to protect our home from sights ( we had to cut a cypres hedge 15 m high it was sick and made us sick as well. Planned for beginning of may 2018.
We would like t... more inside
