We are a restaurant situated in Cooks beach. We are happy to host helpers in return for support in the kitchen and around the house. It great to meet chefs and talented cooks from around the world and exchange skills and ideas.

Help out for average 4 - 5 hours a day for food (occasional beer and wine) and quality accommodation above the restaurant. We prefer a minimum two week stay.

We have a place for two more people on the 18 July

Hi All, we are a friendly family living in stunning little Tairua in the Coromandel Peninsula (recently moved from Paihia in 2016).

We need a hand with general family life as well as outdoor work, housework and perhaps some babysitting of young Hugh (6.5 years)and Sylvie (3 years). I also always appreciate someone who enjoys to cook!

We live in walking distance from the beach, and town so you'll be busy in your spare time.
In return we try to show you around the area and whenever possible get out and do some kayaking, bush walking, tennis, cycling etc.
Come and join our friendly family for a while!

We are offering a few hours of casual work each week to travelling couples wishing to explore the area. You will need a New Zealand work permit. We would like you to stay at least one week if possible.
If you have a tent of campervan, we will provide you with a site at the holiday park.

You must both be hard working and practical.
At the moment, we need help with cleaning the facilities and units and keeping the grounds tidy.

We are situated in the main street of town just across from the harbour. You have complimentary use of our kayaks to explore the estuary and inner harbour and the use of all the holiday park facilities. Whitianga is a lovely little town and good base from which to explore the rest of the peninsula.

We are a small farm running to permaculture principles. We have a self built strawbale home and an ongoing interest in alternative building.

Animals on the farm include: cows including a house cow, sheep, chickens and donkeys. We also have vegetable gardens of various styles and we experiment with different ways to make the most of the poor soils here. We make many things for ourselves including: preserves, smoothies, cheese, soap, furniture, sewing and building. We are in a beautiful area next to the Coromandel Forest Park and the Te Mata river that has many swimming holes.
We prefer helpers with a genuine interest in permaculture/organic farming.

I live in the bush, in a beautiful environment, with a small orchard. There's always plenty to do, (inside and outside) sometimes heavy work, and I could do with some help.

We could use some help at the moment with various things, harvesting macadamia nuts, firewood, preparing timber for our house etc. Ivan is waiting for a hernia operation and is still busy but some help would be great to relieve some of the workload. It is getting colder now, so you would have to keep in mind that the accommodation is a caravan without heating, but plenty of blankets =)

We are a middle aged couple that run a beekeeping business alongside two kiwifruit orchards.
We live off the grid (solar power) in an earthbrick house with all natural timbers inside.{although not finished yet}.Our shower is outside. Water is heated by the woodstove in the house. Accommodation for helpers is in a caravan. It is comfortable but can get cold in the winter as there is no heating in there. Our home is eco-friendly and we garden organically, however the Kiwifruit and beekeeping are not totally organic. We would like helpers to work about 5 hours a day for 6 days and sundays are free.Howe... more inside
