Welcome to the Spa Centre of Australia a popular tourist area!

I am a retired guy with a well set up one acre permaculture hobby property in the quiet rural surrounds of Daylesford. Helpers here can assist in a wide variety of jobs including gardening, yardwork, housework & DIY, general maintenance, woodwork/handyman work & or arc welding with some small projects currently underway.

Vegetarian off-grid house.

This is a rural area and would suit helpers seeking a quiet and peaceful setting. Helpers coming here need to have an interest in country off-grid living/sustainable living, permaculture & have a willingness to help out around the property. No drugs, no heavy/binge drinking. Overseas guests most welcome.

We live on 5 hillside acres in the Strathbogie ranges
15 minutes walk into the little township of Strathbogie, amongst sheep and alpaca farms, interesting micro farms, forested mountains and meandering creeks. The nearest public transport is Euroa train station.

We grow some of our fruit and vegetables. I have another host moving to share with me and bringing her goats and chickens. Until then I have just our dog for animal company. We have a mixed diet but not a lot of meat and I refrain from cows milk products and gluten.

I need help with building maintenance and spring garden jobs. Generally 5 mornings a week of work together is helpful and we generally all cook and eat together.

You could share accomodation in the cottage or have a tent or at times a bed in the main house.

We like to play a few songs and do some yoga, have discussions that take us in interesting directions, walking in the forest, swimming at our beautiful rockpool pictured and making and eating ... more inside

Hello!
My name is Penelope and I am a secondary school teacher and my boyfriend works on a farm, we are both 30 years old. We have had many backpackers come and stay, as my parents also do Help X and many have come for a stop over or a short stay. We live in the vibrant city of Ballarat where there is Lake Wendouree (pictured), lots of nightlife and cafes, bush walks, a wildlife park and Australian history relating to the Gold Rush. Dave and I often visit the nearby Grampians and Great Ocean Road which I have shared some pictures of from when we have been to visit. We love going on adventures and seeing what the area around us has to offer!
We have recently bought a house and are looking for some people to help us paint, garden and update a few bits and pieces.
We look forward to meeting you and helping you explore the wonderful area we live in!

We are a married couple who both work busy full time jobs and also have a small home based business. We are happy to host 1 or 2 people (couples or singles - we have the space) we are 36 & 40. Both car fanatics & animal lovers. We will be in a new (well new to us) house form April 2018 - its our new house pictured in the photos.

We have odd jobs to do around the house such as mowing lawns, weeding gardens, washing windows, washing dishes, maybe a few other odd jobs such as painting fences and deck/verandah, oiling decks, and helping to renovate a small cottage on the property, Also from time to time it might include ironing, some basic machine sewing (you don’t need prior skills to do this) and some other craft type tasks.

We ask for up to 20 hours per week each (it may be less depending on what we have on at the time, it wont ever be more), in exchange for 3 meals a day and your room. We are quite flexible on when the work is done, which is useful if you find any paid work... more inside
