I live in the beautiful town of Albany on the south coast of WA.

I am providing a home stay arrangement.

I am providing your own room with a double bed, food and WiFi in exchange for help around the house. Cooking (I have a Thermomix), washing, cleaning, helping out with the kids a bit.

I have 2 young children and 2 cats, you will need to like both. We will welcome you into our family and would love someone out going, active and considerate of others.

We are an easy going family that love the out doors, we love our coastal life and enjoy many outdoors activities that you would be welcome to join in with.

Please contact me for more information.

This is a great opportunity for an active person/persons and a great lifestyle to go with it. Albany is beautiful with loads to do.

These photo's are a few years old now, but kids are still as cute :)

Vacancies from mid March

We live in a Community that was established as an Incorporated body in 1974 with the ideals of wholesome living. The Community is on common land with individual housing and is semi-self sufficient. It is 2.5 k's from the town and set in a beautiful valley with lots of bush around.
We are 2.5 hours south of Perth, inland. (The coast is 45 minutes to Busselton or Bunbury.)
We have jobs that need doing all year round. Some are seasonal which includes cleaning up ready for fire season, helping with burning off and getting firewood. Gardening/pruning, helping with meals and some cleaning are all year round. If you are skilled in areas like carpentry work, trimming trees, using a whippersnipper or chainsaw these can be done without the help of Martin. Otherwise just helping Martin will be a huge benefit to us.
We have what we call a hermitage which is a pyramid building. It has a tile fire for winter, a small gas stove, double beds. It has bedding (sheets, ... more inside

Currently keen to welcome some helpers for gardening and some daily chores and activities, fencing, painting.

Our family live on a 2500 ha farm 2 hours east of Perth beaches. The farm is 17km east of Northam, our regional town, which has bus and train services to Perth. We have three teenage girls, 1 at boarding school, 2 in Perth. The farm has 1200ha of mixed crops, 6000 sheep and a small cattle herd. Border Collie dogs are used extensively for sheep work and competitive sheepdog trialling.
Help is required all year round. Mostly general help and maintenance on farm, yard, sheds and gardening. There are general farm chores and maintenance and repairs to help with. Exercising and tending 2 ponies and plenty of domestic help and gardening opportunity. There is some carpentry work with some furniture restoration and house maintenance. So depending on what your skills are there are various areas to help out.
We can provide flexible helping arrangements and accommodati... more inside

I am a busy professional female who has a two bedroom house who is requiring assistance of a capable and mature live-in cook & cleaner, female and French. I have lived in France and can speak french so would prefer a French female to stay. No men.

I have a demanding job and would like some help to get everything done during the week, so if you are a mature traveller who is sick of staying in hostels, can cook and likes a tidy and quiet house then this could be for you!

In exchange for no accomodation, you would be expected to complete duties such as cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, errands, gardening and washing clothes. I would require you to contribute to food and maybe some bills, depending on use.

My house is small, modern and comfortable, with a small garden and is walking distance from the main street of Albany.

Would welcome a traveller who is keen to visit Albany for around two months, with a possibility of extension.

In addition to assisting me with... more inside

Hello! We are a family of four, Nat & Mike plus our two teenage kids, Georgia & Josh. We have a farm 30 minutes drive from Albany with cattle & horses (plus our cat!) We have lots of general work to do around the house and farm and need some help to get things done! We are looking for an individual or couple to come and stay with us and work a couple of hours a day (or 2 full days a week) in exchange for accomodation and use of one of our cars. You will have your own accomodation, separate from the main house, set in its own 11 acres with awesome views and the sound of kookaburras in the evening to keep you company! The accomodation has its own toilet, bath & shower, double bed (plus bunk bed), kitchenette and lounge with tv. In the nearby area there are many amazing beaches to explore, the Stirling ranges for great hikes & the city of Albany with many shops & cafes. If you fancy a peaceful farm getaway in the south west, we are the place for you!

Hi, I live on 8acres of land about 6ks out of picturesque Denmark (about 50km out Of Albany). It is truly a beautiful and prime part of West Australia. There are many tourist attractions around including the 'Valley of the Giants', the treetop walk, tingle trees, lots of glorious beaches and amazing forests just to mention a few. I need help any time of the year to run my small piece of paradise. I can supply a fully furnished caravan or studio. Both have a double bed a kitchen and free WIFI. In return I would like 2 - 4 hrs a day helping around the farm. I'm a very busy person and would love a extra hand or two to keep everything running smoothly. Besides my paid job i am also a wildlife carer and currently i have 3 young kangaroos in my care. They need bottle feeding 3 times a day and also supervision while outside. This is a great chance to get to know the Australian wildlife on a personal level. Also someone capable of using a grass cutter, lawn mower and gardening tools would... more inside

We are a family of 4 and live on a bush property in a beautiful spot in the perth hills. We adjoin a bushland reserve with winter creek, walking and bike trails, cafes, horse riding farm, tennis courts and a wonderful friendly local community. It is easy to get to the city as we are just a short walk away from public transport and just 40 mins drive to Perth city centre/beach (we go often!).
We are looking for a happy soul/couple to help with both inside and outside work - gardening and maintenance, helping with pets, housework, renovating or whatever is going at the time! Depending on your skills and interests we can also extend the work to more technical jobs as we often have interesting projects on the go - making furniture, renovating sections of the house or landscaping our garden. Kylie is a landscape designer and Norm a carpenter and so if you're keen to learn, may be able to teach you a few skills. We keep a large organic veggie patch, native gardens, chickens, fruit tre... more inside
