We are building an Eco Retreat on three quarters of an acre in Sailors Falls, about 6km from Daylesford in Victoria's Central Highlands.
We are surrounded by the neighbouring property, which in turn is surrounded by the beautiful Hepburn Regional Park.
We are renovating the existing home to a north-facing, sustainable, solar-passive home, embracing some of the Earthship and Living Architecture principles, and following permaculture and other organic gardening principles.

At the moment there is myself and my partner Natalie and 6 year old son, Tyber, half of the time, as well as regular visitors and travelers.
My passions include sustainability, healthy eating, yoga and meditation, art and music.
There are regular early morning community yoga classes held in the house.

Work includes:

* maintenance and planting of organic vegetable beds,
* weeding,
* landscaping,
* various building projects,
* mowing,
* and website help (if skilled).

I'm renovating my house and it's on a big block. I need someone to do small building jobs, gardening, painting, burning off and general maintenance. Work is easy and you don't need any special skills.
I would ask for 3 hours work per day per person with two days free. Ideally I would have someone for about a week or two. I have two spare bedrooms one with a double bed and one with a single. I would welcome couples, friends, solo travellers or small family's. (LGBT friendly) Any age is welcome. Wifi is available . You would get three meals a day provided. This is negotiable if you have your own van and want to cook for yourself. I will provide food but we will share the cooking and I expect you to clean up after yourself.
Barooga is approximately three hours north of Melbourne on the Murray river. It is in New South Wales but on the border with Victoria. I live in town and you can walk to everything including the river.
I'm in Melbourne every few weeks so I may be able to pick... more inside

We are a small farm in South Gippsland 3 hours East of Melbourne, within easy reach of Wilsons Prom, Tarra Bulga NP historic Port Albert and 90 mile beach, therefore your own transport is an advantage .
Public transport via v/line bus is available to the local town of Alberton 2km away and I am happy to pick you up from here.
Ross is away a lot for work and therefore you may not get to see him and my son Tom also lives here until he marries in a months time when he will move away (although I hope he and his wife Sarah will be around a lot), so mostly there will be me Di and the dogs (at least two and maybe more depending on who I am looking after.
As a small property there is mostly not a lot of farm work to be carried out. But my garden is large both vegetables and flowers and I enjoy spending my time there, this is where I need help and also in the house as I would rather be doing other things.
I need people who are flexible and willing to work independently, you will be w... more inside
