We live on a broadacre farm at Mullewa. We have 5 sons aged 19, 17, 16 and 13 (all away at boarding school and uni) and an 9 year old who is at our local school ). We are seeking a competant horse rider now to help ride the young horses and help with handling the young foals . If you like to cook that is great too!(not essential tho) We like helpers to become part of the family (the boys love having friends stay!)and stay longer rather than shorter periods.

We often go to horseriding events and competitions, rodeos etc which we love to take helpers along to. The social life is good as lots of young people come to Mullewa for the seeding season.
We provide food and accomodation, wifi and may be able to sign for second year visa.
If you love riding horses this is the place for you :)

Hi there Helpers. Would you like to join us to learn Permaculture? How to grow a garden which will sustain you for the rest of your life? We have grown a huge garden of Earthly delights, and you can share this with us but you will be asked to help extend the planting!We have been growing Food forests for 32 years and make our living from farmers markets so are very busy gardening, making compost, saving seeds, packing eggs, feeding and caring for animals, about 20 pigs and 100 chooks, also we cell graze pigs, sheep, chooks, alpacas, ducks, beef and dairy cows. We are always planting seeds and seedlings, trees and tubers. We mulch ,weed water and protect them then hopefully we harvest lots of fruit and vegetables then eat them or sell them. We travel an hour to the MArgaret River farmers market nearly every Saturday. We also make a 3 hour trip to Perth city farm markets once a month, and we can pick you up from there if you like.

We are a small organic farm surrounded by state forest near the town of Boyanup. We are tentatively looking at the community living idea, and although it scares us it would be an awesome thing to do here! Currently there are 6 of us here soon to be 8.
We regularly go to Bunbury so if you have no transport you can still see the sights.
There are heaps of different jobs to do from weeding to painting, fencing and mowing. We are about to build strawbale house which should be a challenge! There is heaps of planting to do as well as looking after the chickens, ducks and geese. We would love to grow all our own food here and appreciated new suggestions and idea. We also love new recipes and cooking methods so if you enjoy cooking we love eating!!

We have several LARGE friendly dogs, as well as the chickens, ducks, geese and the household cats. We also have rescued dogs here so if anybody wants to get a doggy hug this is the place.

We have a transportable style self-contained... more inside

* * * Position available for single/couple from 22/1/18 * * *

Our beef cattle farm is located 1 1/2 hours south east from Perth in Wandering - a beautiful little country town.

We have a busy family life and find we need help around the homestead. At home we have chickens, a milking cow, dog, and horses. As we are trying (!) to be as sustainable as possible, we also have a veggie garden and growing orchard that needs to be tended to - so we just need that extra pair of hands to keep life fun and simple.

It would be great to have some French speakers in order to support school studies, but no problem if not. Farming background handy but not essential; a happy disposition and sense of humour are the main attributes needed!

In return we can offer a neat, private 2 bedroom cabin with own kitchen, lounge and bathroom; and yummy home-cooked dinners with the family. We are a beef cattle farm and therefore do not offer vegetarian meals unless you cook them yourself (or you t... more inside
