Hi! I am Amy and my husband is Ryan. We have a 6 month old baby Hudson (aka little Hulk) and 2 awesome and well-behaved dogs. We are currently living in Germany. Ryan works full time and I work from home as well as raising our son. The work I do is for my own coaching and healing business.

Both Ryan and I LOVE to travel and have traveled extensively and lived for a long time overseas. We decided what a great opportunity to do some more cultural exchange and to help someone else who may want to travel in this area. So we decided to advertise for some help on here!

What we are looking for is for someone to come and help with the baby (allowing me dedicated time to focus on my business, writing and maybe some baby-free exercise) and some help around the house and with the dogs as needed. Cooking is a major bonus!

I am also open to sharing information, knowledge and mentoring around coaching and healing. And/or if you have any interest in assisting with my business stuff, that ... more inside

We are a Up-cycling community, made up of Kim 28, Torsten 32, Manon 22, and Pieter 11 Months old. We are living at the border of the Ruhrgebiet in Duisburg. The Rhein, out in the countryside is 1 km away and only 300m walk to the city center. We like to live as a Community and are looking for others to bring their influence too.

Culture exchange is one of our reasons for hosting on Helpx. With our Volunteers we like to go to Flee markets and other cultural activities. A major goal of our shared flat it is to work against the prevailing disposable culture in Germany.
With the motto from old to new, we love making tours of the city, looking for old furniture to reclaim and offer new life in our house.

We bought the house 2 years ago with a garden. Our main activities are renovating, creative decoration and interior design and gardening. It is important for us is to integrate our Helpers, like you, into our community. In the 300 m2 house you will have space for your own and room... more inside

We will welcome Helpers in November.

We are an open-minded family of four (my husband, my daughter (19) and my son (17)). We live on a beautiful property with a big house and garden with schwimming pool, just 10 minutes far from Tuebingen. This is a nice, old university-town, where you can spend lovely days and evenings.
There are a lot of things to do in our area - cultural sight-seeing, as well as activities, such as kajaking, horse riding, hiking, playing soccer or tennis.

You will have a room and bathroom of your own. Meals are together with the family or you can cook something by yourself. In exchange for food and accomodation we expect about 5 hours work per day in the house or garden. Sometimes it will be less. Sundays are free and you can also have one day free and work more another day. We are pretty flexible. Minimum stay is 4 days, up to four weeks.

Our whole family have travelled a lot, so we are interested in your travell-stories! We hope you will learn a lot... more inside
