GARDEN ACTIVITIES IN A BIG NATURAL LIFE SETTING
HELPERS in FEB & MARCH 2018
__________________________________________________
My name is Alexandre,i am 23. I live alone in the big house of my parents who are living abroad for 2 years. I am developping a vegan cooking activity with some Muesli and dry fruits. I need some help to prepare the packets and the MUESLI.
My family used to greet people who want to discover french way of life. We love nature and we only eat organic agriculture products. We've a big property with a natural life setting, The Chabanas house dated 1789 is typical from south of France. So we offer the host for travellers in exchange that you help me for my MUESLI activity.
We provide you peaceful place into the wild. First village is 6 Km far. Spring is a sunny period in this south of France area. So you should get great time.
We hope meeting you to share our activity, and be one step in your life.

**We still have space for the summer season, do get in touch!

We have bed & breakfast with a little organic garden. This is a place of peace, a little bit in the countryside but as there are always people around you'll never feel lonely. Philippe looks after the garden while Jeanne-Marie is mostly running the bed & breakfast - making sure everyone has a good stay. We eat all meals together with all guests and friends/family.
I'm experimenting more and more with vegetarian cooking but there is always meat and fish at the table for the people who want it
And Philippe like meat always

There is always something to do, either in the b&b or in the garden. Normally in the morning you help cleaning the (bath)rooms when our guests have left. You can help in the garden, picking fruits and vegetables and learn how to prepare them for a nice, healthy meal. A good opportunity to experience proper French cuisine. French is mostly spoken but we also speak a bit English, so no worries :) ... more inside

We are an anglo-french couple who have just finished building an ecological (straw bale and earth and straw) house for our family in the foothills of the Pyrenees. We live in an 'eco-hamlet' of five houses. We are looking for help with our permaculture vegetable patch, some finishing touches to the house, and harvesting herbs as part of a cooperative plant project. We expect 5 hours work a day in exchange for meals and accommodation in our house or barn. There a places to put up tents or park vans. Our ideal helpers have some experience or love of gardening, enjoy physical work and like to live simply, close to nature. Work hours can be flexible with whole days off planned for exploring the area. There are lakes, rivers, mountains, all within easy reach, as are small villages with lots going on in terms of concerts and events over the summer. The food is mostly vegetarian but some meat occasionally appears on the table.

Hello,

We are Cyrille and Jutta and with our little dog, Ficelle, we are looking for helpers to help us on our little place, in Rouède.

I (Cyrille) lived 6 years in Canada and I took one year off when I turned 40 and went to discover this beautiful planet a bit....
I did a bit of woofing in Nepal, India, Thailand, Ecuador and Peru. Very interesting expériences.
And now it's my turn to host some people at home.... :)

Jutta had spent over 30 years in Berlin, and now she is in the point to settle down in Rouède.

We have a vegetable garden, some fruits trees, 16 chickens, a pond with frogs and fishs and a lot of bamboos.
We have some aromatic and medicinal plants.
We are surrounded by cows and prairies.
We are nestling in the foothills of the Pyrénées, 15km from Saint-Gaudens, 80km from Toulouse, and 7km from Aspet, the beginning of the mountains.

I work in Toulouse from mondays to wednesdays, so I will be away from the house from 6am to 7pm during those 3 ... more inside

Welcome to the Limousin, where we live in a tranquil hamlet with no through traffic, within the beautiful Parc-Naturel-Perigord-Limousin.

We are two neighbouring households looking for help with our barn conversion and house renovation projects, general gardening and odd jobs around our homes. It would be great if you are reasonably handy and capable - willingness and enthusiasm count most of all.

Your accommodation is Cath's cosy one-bedroomed gite. It has internet access, its own terrace and garden and is equipped with a woodburner for those colder evenings.

English is our first language but we all speak French to a lesser or greater degree. A fairly good knowledge of English or French is necessary as you will need to be able to understand instructions.
We ask for 5 days of 4-5 hours' work with 2 free days per week.
Non-smokers only please, and absolutely no drugs.

If you don't have your own transport, then our nearest airport is Limoges-Bellegarde, and the main ra... more inside

Hi Guys :)

After a lot of travels around the world, being an helper myself and managing an Organic farm in British Columbia (Canada), i finally settled myself in france, in a farm (Ashnola Organic Farm).
The farm is located at the foothills of the Pyrenees, in the beautiful valley of the Baretous. It is just 20 minutes away from Oloron Ste Marie, 45 from Pau, an hour from Spain and less than 2 hours from the Atlantic ocean.
I am always looking for new helpers who want to share my life style, their stories and listen to mine, are not afraid to put some dirt on their hands, help with animals (chickens, rabbits, horses, cats and dog) and want to eat organic fresh food. Plus i do give a hand to my neighbors with their sheep (milking and making cheese).
According to the season we seed, plant, pick and pack and we go to the farmer market, and the basic chore of every farmer, some weeding :P
I like to work in the morning, 4 to 6 hours per day.
After that, the afternoon is for you... more inside
