* * * Position available for single/couple from 22/1/18 * * *

Our beef cattle farm is located 1 1/2 hours south east from Perth in Wandering - a beautiful little country town.

We have a busy family life and find we need help around the homestead. At home we have chickens, a milking cow, dog, and horses. As we are trying (!) to be as sustainable as possible, we also have a veggie garden and growing orchard that needs to be tended to - so we just need that extra pair of hands to keep life fun and simple.

It would be great to have some French speakers in order to support school studies, but no problem if not. Farming background handy but not essential; a happy disposition and sense of humour are the main attributes needed!

In return we can offer a neat, private 2 bedroom cabin with own kitchen, lounge and bathroom; and yummy home-cooked dinners with the family. We are a beef cattle farm and therefore do not offer vegetarian meals unless you cook them yourself (or you t... more inside

Hi there, My name is Sally and I run a free range egg farm in Esperance. I supply eggs to the cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within the Esperance district. Egg farming can be hard yet rewarding work. I am passionate about working with animals and love nothing more than living life on the land. I am looking for people who are interested in experiencing the day to day running of an egg farm. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I hope to be able to provide helpx workers with a new cultural experience of farm life in rural Australia. Duties include collecting and grading of the eggs. Feeding the chickens and general farm hand duties. There may also be some cooking, cleaning and gardening. Helpers are required for 4 hours per day. Own bedroom(s) and bathroom provided and all meals. WFI available. I also have three dogs, three horses, a cat, goats, cows and of course a lot of chickens! Anyone interested must also love animals.

Greetings:) We are currently taking singles & couples. We are a small family, (husband, wife and son) living on quiet 3 acres in Parkerville, in the Perth Hills, 20 minutes drive from Midland railway station. Own transport is best for you but the bus is a 10 minute walk away or 5 minutes - depending which bus you catch. This takes you to Midland train station, with access into Perth City. Sorry, we do not have time to take you sightseeing. You need to be prepared to catch the bus, or have your own vehicle.

We are self-employed, and a busy family. You need to provide food for your own breakfast and lunch and prepare for yourselves. You will have unrestricted access to use of the kitchen. We provide evening meals which are usually shared casually. We sometimes request you help with preparing what we are planning for dinner. We hope you always help with washing dishes after dinner, as well as wiping the benches and generally keeping the kitchen tidy. We are usually very tired b... more inside

This is one of the iconic buildings associated with the historic town and tourist destination of Toodyay which is located an hours drive north east of Perth. The Quarters is a c1900 stone building that we are restoring and developing the property with organic farming (garlic), Sandalwood, Christmas Trees and farm stay accommodation forming the focus of the property. The property is in a beautiful rural Australian setting.

You will need your own accommodation and food. We have some beautiful camping spots along the creek or under the trees. Camp kitchen, toilet and shower are provided. We welcome your enthusiasm and if you have them building skills would be greatly appreciated. Two hours work a day is asked of you during your stay. Otherwise your time is your own to enjoy the region using this as your base.

Hi there!
I have a simple small caravan to share - if you are after very basic accommodation ! Nothing flash and a bit like camping at this stage! Hot during the day ( parked under big shady oak) and a few mozzies at night ( mozzie nets provided) The summer is hot here, so early rising is preferable as the middle of the day is too hot to work in.
I would like to exchange 2 hrs work per day ( we will have some meals to share but most meals you will need to provide yourself) for accomodation and showers.
Guests need to be kid friendly (I have 4!) - we are keen to meet travelers and share stories, music and play!
I am keen to show you our local swimming dams and our huge beautiful local world tree park, our community forest garden aswell as the local Buddhist retreat and mindfulness centre. Or any other areas you may be interested in.
Balingup is a small country town, where we are its close to the Tavern and town centre which is 5mins on foot.
Part of my reasoning of signin... more inside

We live in a simple, older style house on one acre of land in a semi rural setting in the hills about 40 km east of centre of Perth. We are close to the small township of Mundaring with shops and access to public transport. We have some fruit trees, grow some of our own vegetables (but not much in summer), keep chickens and have two very spoilt medium sized dogs who live inside the house much of the time. We require reliable people to house sit from early January for about three weeks. In return for your accommodation we would need you to water, tend our vegetable gardens and look after our poultry. You will be welcome to access our wireless internet connection. We will have the dogs with us.
PS. The photos are taken in winter. Its much dryer now so not as pretty but we do have a small swimming pool, plenty of free eggs and what ever vegetables of fruit you pick, but there is not much this time of year.

We are located in the beautiful Margaret River region and close to Boranup Forest, many beaches and the highlights of Margaret River townsite.
We are a small friendly farm with a variety of cattle and poultry, also included is an extensive orchard.
We would like help with a variety of farm jobs depending on the season. An example would be helping to care for our pastured hens including relocating the mobile hen houses or collecting / grading eggs, general farm jobs would be moving cattle around the farm, weeding, picking up sticks or milking our house cow. We would also like help to develop our veggie patch.
To enjoy the work it is best if you are fit and willing.
We are happy to negotiate the number of hours worked and what is included. You would have your own bathroom facilities and could use your own camper or a bedroom in our home.
