Hi! Our names are Mahena and Paulo, we are 29 and 35 years old and we live with our 8 year old daughter and her brother (4) in a house with a big garden in the green lung of Hamburg.
We grew up in Portugal and just moved back to Germany a couple of years ago.
So, mostly we will need help to clean up and organize our garden, cut firewood and treat vegetables...we are open for new ideas to creat ou garden :)

Now in wintertime it is possible that you wouldn't be able to do something in the garden because of the weather.
If that is the case than I still have plenty of things to do inside :)

The connections to the city are great, you can catch the bus 5 min. to Bergedorf and another 20 to the center of Hamburg.

The bus station is just two minutes away...in case you're traveling by public transports.

When you come, please contact me as soon as possible since we are both working.

Things are changing on my farm right now, as I am leaving the place probable in the middle of october. Thus I cannot invite anybody for the time after, as long as I do not know for sure how Things are going on there afterwards.

I (Hans) run a small cattle farm in the middle of the upper Donau nature reserve at the edge of the village Leibertingen. I have about 30 cows, chicken, ducks, geese, 2 Dogs and 2 cats and 1 horse, which you are very welcome to ride outside in the landscape. Dogs and cats are part of the family and thus they also share the house.
I am a retired geologist and take care of the farm.

I am looking for motivated helpers (singles or couples) who are not afraid of cows (ours are very peaceful) and are used to make their hands dirty. The work would be feeding the cows in the morning and afternoon and putting some straw to the stable. That makes about 3 hours of work. Normally there is also some work during the day outside the stable, like on every farm, but it ... more inside

We are an English-German family of 4 and live in a small house in Frankfurt/Main.Our daughter is sixteen and our son is ten. We also have a dog who likes everyone. We speak both English and German so you can improve you language skills.

Ideal if you want to have a look at Frankfurt (and area) and stay in a place with your own room. We have also got a vegetable garden that needs work doing most of the time and various jobs about the house.

You have your own (small) room, share the bathroom and eat with us (or make your own). We are self employed and one of us is often at home. We appreciate having people who engage with the family and enjoy being with children.

We expect about 5 hours work per person on weekdays.

At the moment people who can work hard in the garden, possibly with building/woodworking skills for renovating a garden shed would be especially welcome. French speakers who can help us with our spoken French, and who can relate well with our children are also ... more inside

There is a beautiful forest behind the house and the house it on a hill with a nice view over the village. Me, Hannah, 34, who studied photography at art school and works with children and in a biological store and my 5 year old daughter could have some help with renovating the house. Children and dogs are welcome. If you like to come as couple or friends we would leave the house for you. At the moment there is no shower or washing machine or internet. But you can use smartphone and there is the possibility to use shower and washing machine at my parents house nearby. You will have private room with double bed (140 cm). This is a permaculture and forest garden heaven in startup phase. There is a lot that need to be done in the garden, which becomes a big forest garden. Furthermore a lot of practical things have to be done, for example cutting some wood behind the house (falls on the roof), installing solar panels and solar tubes, digging swales in the garden, building a gigantic glasshouse, and so forth. Is garden and non-garden work in the beautiful hillside of the Eifel/Moesel area.

Hi Helpers!
We like to introduce you to our 100 year old house with 0,5 ha around. We also rent out a an apartment beside our house. On the area, there is small forest, a meadow with fruit trees and a garden where we grow organic vegetables for our supply.

We bought the house 4 years ago and there is still a lot to do, mainly outside. When you are skilled and like to create with us the environment, you are welcome to stay here and work and eat here as a member of the family (Peter, Kristina and Max). We are a vegetarian household, Max is sometimes eating meat, but if you are used to eat meat every day, this is not the right place.
The work would be like for s.b. with homeworking skills:
-gardening (seeding, weeding, harvesting)
-renovating an old cottage (decorating, painting, laying a floor, building a bath?)
-building fences
-cutting trees
-feeding the chicken
-walking with the dog
-chopping wood
-cooking (if you like and can do it)
-cleaning
-many other things wi... more inside
