Hi Helpxers,
We are between Sydney and Newcastle and 5 minutes drive to Avoca Copacabana and MacMasters beaches. My bush acreage is a bird sanctuary! Would you like to spend a week or two helping with a range of tasks around the home and property? Cool off in our swimming pool after your work! Accommodation is a double futon in the spare bedroom in the main house or in the guest cabin if there are no guests. I make nice meals but I'm happy for you to prepare a meal in the kitchen sometime.
We are in need of a happy, friendly, fairly independent person to join us for a week or two in the home. General cleaning and entertaining two bright children after school. And help with the animals. A pet goat, an old dog and a dozen chickens. Easy work.

For a later time...
I have a list of basic building projects around the place to prepare us for Autumn and Winter, including 1) Renovate Chicken shed and goat shelter, 2) construct basic firewood shelter, chop and stack wood, 3) disman... more inside

Do something great!
Come to our beautiful farm, celebrate autumn and new beginnings. Here you get an opportunity to regenerate the land and do your bit to mitigate climate change. You will be helping plant trees to regenerate the land and help our stunning wildlife. As well as planting out two brand new orchards..

We have recently moved to a picturesque and very peaceful farm situated in the foothills of the Richmond Ranges on the edge of the National Park, which has some beautiful hikes and refreshing swimming holes. The local village (4kms from here) has a pub, a club, a few shops, a post office and a hospital. This is the real Australia, a small village 50 minutes from the nearest city.

Our farm is an ex dairy property and we are working hard to regenerate our soils and replant trees for shade, food, food trees for wildlife and to assist with carbon capture. We have nine dairy cows, one with a brand new calf, two meat steers, two pigs (with another pig in the freezer) duck... more inside
