Hello Travelers,

My name is Rosie. I live in Pomona, a quiet and lovely little town in Sunshine Coast's hinterland, 30 minutes by car from the famous beaches of Noosa. From my house, it is an easy walk to town, rail and bus services. There are two direct trains going to and from Brisbane daily.

I am situated on a third of an acre where i have a garden with vegetables and fruit. I also keep chickens and ducks.

I would love to have some help with gardening and small jobs in the house and possibly some painting/maintenance duties. Helper accommodation will be a guest room in the house with shared bathroom. I will provide 2 meals per day and am happy to cater for vegetarians. I am flexible with working hours, but generally expect3 / 4 hours per day.i love to cook and very socialable, short stays welcome.

smoking is acceptable outside only.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

We live in an Eco village, ten minutes inland from the Currumbin Surf beach on the southern end of the Gold Coast. Having built a cottage and (your) cabin, from recycled materials, we would now really appreciate some help in in landscaping and tidying the site up, and doing some gardening. The village is ina ‘land for wild life’ area, and wallabies, Roos, possums etc are free to roam. With no cats or dogs, more than 180 species of birds have been sited. Great walks.
Situated up Currumbin Creek Road, we are 15 minutes from Collangatta surf beaches and the Gold Coast airport. Happy to pick anyone up from buses or trains.
All meals (and some beers) provided. The cabin has a double and single bunk, so would suit a couple or two friends.
Look forward to hearing from you!

We invite you to discover the magic of our small part of the world in Noosa Heads and the natural Noosa Biosphere.

We live in a stunning, newly built and very unique sustainable house in the heart of Noosa. The house is not only architecturally beautiful, it is also built with minimal toxins utilising untreated hardwood timbers, unsealed slate stone and white washed brick. It is designed to optimise earthing, and to minimise electromagnetic penetration and exposure. It represents the epitome of inside/outside living where you are always very close to nature. We also have a large permaculture vegetable garden in our central courtyard. There is also a lovely natural Enviroswim pool and large tennis court.

Our expansive property backs onto bushland and is on a very quiet, but very friendly and social street. At night, we can hear koalas growling in the trees behind the house and the only noise you can usually hear are the many birds.

Despite its quite natural bush location,... more inside

Please apply by email for the following work:
Mechanical and Electrical - rebuilding a speedway racecar and replacing the engine in a Honda Prelude. Gardening - there is a vine taking over the garden and pool area, which needs to be dug out, and also other weeding and pruning. Painting - preparation by sanding or washing, then painting neatly with rollers or brushes. Housekeeping - general cleaning, washing walls, cleaning inside cupboards. Helpers must be able to work without supervision at times, while we are at work, and be careful about keeping doors closed so our cats stay inside. We are a couple in our early 50's & 30 year old son has recently returned from overseas and is happily here with us for now. Ben is studying engineering at Uni and into cycling. We prefer helpers aged 30+, so we can all relate. In Cairns we are 6km from city centre on half-acre (2000mm2) of gently sloping land that backs onto a creek & bush - very quiet & private. Spare room in house with double/sin... more inside
