Availability to late April. Recommencing again in July & August.

I am located at the Sunshine Coast at Buderim, 4km from beaches and close to public transport.

Would you like to see how permaculture and sustainable living can be combined in an urban environment? Come and see rain water harvesting, no dig gardens, seed collecting etc.

My goal is to produce as much food of my own as possible by growing herbs, fruit and vegetables. I also have a couple of chickens and a compost area for improving my soil. I enjoy teaching helpers practical gardening skills and basic permaculture, organic gardening and cooking skills using garden produce. My situation is ideal for a couple who have a vehicle.

I prefer helpers with a prior knowledge / experience in gardening or permaculture or an expressed interest in learning about permaculture. Helpers need a good eye for detail and will be able to follow detailed instructions, and have the ability to work independently whil... more inside

Hi,

We have a permaculture orchard with approx 300 fruit and nut trees, and a few small/medium veggie gardens.

We are after either a motivated individual or dynamic duo.

Basically we need the extra hands to prune and establish a long term veggie garden. The long term goal is a significant way towards self sufficiency.

We have a spare/seperate room (very large) with wifi etc - along with shared facilities.

Ideally you've got a car - but we could possibly work around it.

Must have experience running orchards and/or market gardens.

Cheers
Matt & Karen

We live in suburban Brisbane and are looking for a single person or a couple for about 4 weeks. They must love animals especially dogs. My husband will be going away with my son and I will be remaining for work. Then I will be going away for about 3 weeks.

The chickens are out for about 4 hours then put away and dogs let out. Also some feeding and caring for other animals (birds and turtle). Other tasks include light yard work and housework.
We require someone from around 19th November, 2018 until about 8 January, 2019. A large bedroom is available with separate kitchenette. Free board is provided as well as eggs and basic items such as bread, margarine etc.
