Hi helpers ! Salut les helpers ! (en français à la fin)

*Having a break with my renovation work for the moment*

I own a shared house with a garden, 2mn from the town center of Aurillac. We are 2 girls, 29 and 32 years old. We enjoy meeting people and talking about our different cultures.
The house is always lively, a lot of friends often come to visit us.
I travelled as a helper before and really enjoyed this experience. With my room-mates, we like dancing, gardening and having fun. We all speak english (not perfectly, as you can read it) and spanish (quite good). I also speak german.
Auvergne is a green and pleasant area, perfect for nature lovers.

I'm looking for handywomen and handymen to help me renovate my house step by step. It's not in a bad state, but there's some renovation work to be done. If you like it, you can also help outside (chop wood, build a greenhouse or garden for example). I'm not a great handywoman myself, but I have friends who give me good advi... more inside

Hello! We, Gregor an Marianne, are a swiss couple (young aged "around sixties") living here in this wild-romantic area of France on the "plâteau des mille étangs". We keep horses, cats and a dog.
We need somebody who loves animals, knows or wants to learn about horses (occasion to ride). There is also work with wood and green space, vegetable and flower garden etc. Sometimes, if you like it, as well in the kitchen. We like to cook with fresh ingredients of the market.
Gregor has lots of technical skills and is interested for biking. And me, Marianne, I'm interested in nature therapy, literature, philosophy and photography. Please ask us, if you want to know more about us and this helperplace. It is possible to bring your horse with you, but no dogs, sorry.

Hallo!

We are a small French/ Chilean family with a 6 months baby. We travel a lot and we love meeting up new peoples. We both work full time in Geneva and with the arrival of the baby we are really missing time to do any work in our house.

We have a big old farm we have been renovated for many years, the house is on a hill in a small village in haute savoie, 20 minutes from Annecy and Geneva. we have a small organic garden in summmer time and a small greenhouse.

We are very flexible and open to any offer related to the garden and the farm renovation.

We would actually need the help of someone having skills in gardening or landscaping to fence the property, cut and prune a few trees, weed and help out with the garden and greenhouse. This work should ideally take place any time between now and October.

We would also need help to do some renovation in the old barn and in some small parts of the house so someone with carpenter or woodcraft skills would be really appreciated. We ... more inside

We are a 32 years old couple, Guillaume and Kristyna. Guillaume is French and me, I am Czech so we speak both french and czech language and of course english, but not perfect :-)

Guillaume is a sailor and so I am very often alone, and I need help mostly with the animals, gardening but also with the building or now mainly demolition :-) works on the house.

Generally I leave you alone during the day, we see each other in the morning and in the evening. You will be free to make your own food and I can enable you to use our car for your trips.

We live in un old traditional brittany farmstead which we restore in its original state if it's possible or very close to it. We are at the beginning of the works, till now we mostly took off all the concrete and all these not really fine materials and bad interventions. We use only traditional materials as the clay, stones, lime and wood.

Only one part of the building is habitable temporarily. That's why it's really simple, and we hav... more inside

Hello!

My name is Ursula, I live on a 4 hectare property with my daughter Lisa, our dog Balto and two horses Cochise and Djoura.

I am often alone and am in need of some help with the animals and in the garden.
The property is next to a beautiful forest, so for those who enjoy going for walks our house is perfect for you! I have many friends in the surrounding countryside who you will often meet, and I would love to have someone who is happy to care for the dog and horses with me. Helpers with independent spirits (and maybe a drivers license too) are the happiest here.

I also have some other friends (on different farms/ properties) who sometimes take in some of my Helpers too. Sabine, for example, has a black-pig farm near the Pyrenees. Cecile has mohair goats, and Cornelia has 10 horses, chickens, cats and dogs. There may be an opportunity for helpers to spend some time at their houses too.

To resume, the work here is mostly gardening, fencing, horsemanship (relations ... more inside

We live in a hamlet called Piques in the Midi-Pyrenées region on the border of Ariège. The nearest village called Montbrun-bocage is a great example of the hippies lifestyle of the region.
The Pyrenees are located at 70 km for those who like the hiking and you are about 2 hours drive from spain.
The hamlet includes four other families of all ages. The latest arrivals are a young couple of musicians with a little girl and we also rent our second home to a mother and her three children. Many differente and beautiful people live in the same place.

About us :
We are a small family composed of myself Christine my daughter colomba and my parents Jean and Paulette. This is my parents' house but I came back to support them because my mother has alzheimer and my father has to take care of 9 hectares of land. The land includes 4 hectares of forest, there are about hundred fruit trees and a large vegetable garden. We grow fruit and vegetables organically for our own use and follow bio... more inside

I am currently looking for helpers with gardening skills and for other jobs. There is quite a lot of mowing and strimming to be done all year round, as well as weeding, watering the garden so I will need help with these jobs.

Typical French country house near village in south-west France. Lovely countryside for walking; biking, canoeing (in summer).

Help requested for gardening, carpentry and painting. Other jobs possible, including pool maintenance. You will have your own room. Bicycle available. I can pick you up either in Cahors or in Figeac or at Rodez airport.

From mid-March on I need help with cleaning up the garden and the grounds, some pruning of shrubs, making bonfires. There are also some windows to be painted and various other little jobs. If you have skills with restoring dry stone walls, there is work for you! In the summer pool maintenance will be one of your jobs.

All the meals are taken together, and if you like cooking, I'll gladly taste some of your ... more inside

***Spaces available from mid August, come and join us! Especially looking for french speakers.***

Hi, We are Debbie and Daniel we moved to Normandy from the UK in 2000. Our vegetarian Guest house and restaurant is in the stunning Pays d'Auge area, we have 4 acres of beautiful gardens that we manage organically, we grow lots of vegetables and fruit for our hotel and helpers. We have chickens, ducks & turkeys, we only eat their eggs! The work varies depending on what time of the year you come. From May until September when the guest house and restaurant is open we need help with the general running of the place and jobs in the garden. Outside of these months the work is mainly projects in the gardens and general DIY etc. Between May and September we generally only take helpers who can stay for a minimum of 6 weeks and we give priority to those who can stay longer.
In return we give you good accommodation in a house next door to the hotel just for helpers and also on the top flo... more inside
