Hi There,
We are a quiet couple with a 3yo son living in the outskirts of the Perth suburbs. I have an organic gardening business and a charity that I run so there is always plenty to do.
At our home we have chickens, a fish pond, cats and an old dog. We have fruit trees and vegetable gardens and are backing onto bushland, in fact there is alot of bush land and walking areas near our home. We are 20 minutes drive away from the beach and 35 mins away from the city. Public Transport and shops are close.
We are looking for someone to help in the garden and around the house, as well as possibly working for cash or volunteering in the business or charity.
We are a very easy going home, vegan or vegetarian friendly.
We are offering a place to stay and good company, in exchange for 3 hours a day, 5 days per weeks work, some gardening, help with the animals, tidying up, house work, and some occasional cooking. Basic vegan meals are provided.
Wi-Fi included and your own room with sepa... more inside

We currently have helpers staying with us.

----------------------------------------------

We are a farming family with children that are all grown. Our eldest son lives and works in Perth, our daughter works on the farm with us and our youngest son is attending university in Perth and spends holidays at home.

We live on a 2800 hectare farm, 54km south west of Kojonup, in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. It is about a 4 hour drive from Perth, a 2 hour drive from Bunbury and a 1 3/4 hour drive from Albany.

On the farm we run merino sheep and grow canola, barley, wheat and oats. We have 3 sheep dogs that are more like family pets (but they live outside) and we also keep chickens.

We have a reasonable garden area with fruit trees, herbs and vegetable beds. We would love some help weeding, tidying, or pruning in the orchard and the vegetable garden which could do with some loving care! Also, help with new garden projects would be great. We would want some b... more inside

Hello out there! We would like the help of two English speakers with a vehicle for about two weeks sometime from June on. Please do not count on coming to us at very short notice, as I am currently unwell and not yet sure quite when I will be ready to have helpers stay.
You would stay in our rammed earth and timber house, with your own bathroom downstairs, and share the rest of the house and the wi-fi with us.
Since we retired from work in Perth we have been living in this lovely, wilder place and travelling when we can, so we enjoy the company of young travellers as well as appreciating your help. Brian was a university professor of Australian History, and I was a language teacher, so am happy to help you improve your English if appropriate.
We would like you to work for 4 or 5 hours a day for 5 days out of 7 days and times off negotiable. Jobs could include wood-oiling, raking, scrubbing the decks or bird-baths, digging, whipper-snipping firebreaks, weeding, bulb planting... more inside
