We have a large old oast house 20km outside Hobart in the Derwent Valley. Both the setting and the building itself are visually gorgeous. We have heaps of space for people to stay, and lots of different types of jobs around the house and garden. We need a good veggie patch dug and manured, we need assistance with our native Tassie garden, fences built, painting, assisting with building repairs etc. The property is 15 minutes drive from MONA and 25 to the Center of Hobart, and just 10 minutes into New Norfolk. Jennifer works in Government, in Youth Justice, and Phillip is a youth worker and painter .. the house is part studio!

We are semi retired, have a double block(chickens and vegie garden) and run a small accommodation business (Northgate House Apartment see booking.com). Located close to all facillities with rural views down the Meander Valley to the Western Tiers, 7 mins. walk from shopping centre.
Our home is 8 years old with a self contained apartment which we will have available.
John and I enjoy travelling interstate and overseas regularly plus volunteering for local organisations, as a result jobs at home have been a bit neglected.
John is a retired education consultant and school principal(working on a doctorate) and I am a retired midwife and who enjoys artistic pursuits and bike riding, walking and running our accommodation business.
We would like general maintenance, gardening

Helpers needed from 25th April.

Our farm is an animal park, tourism venture and our home working towards self sufficiency. We run a small herd of beef cattle and sheep and have about 100 different animals in a park surrounded by native gardens open 7 days a week to the public including emu, deer, goats, birds, pigs, chickens, pheasants, peacocks, alpaca, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and giant rainbow trout stocked dams.

We are located above the gorgeous Guide Falls on the North West Coast of Tasmania.

Help is needed for a wide and fun variety of tasks including welcoming guests onto the farm, doing the daily feed rounds, gardening, livestock management, maintenance, maintaining vegetable gardens, and help with events we host at the farm.

Must love animals and bring enthusiasm to guests and groups visiting the farm. Maturity and self-motivation are key.

We are looking for NON SMOKING, social, energetic people who would enjoy physical work, and who are able to independently take on the role of cook from time to time. We do not want anyone who uses their phone and computer a lot; it is important you are happy to become part of our family and minimise usage of electronics around the children.

We can offer a flexible working arrangement, with a baseline expectation of an average of 4 hours per day. In return we will provide meals and accommodation. We also have free internet.

Unfortunately we can't sign off for second year visa, sorry.

We live 15 minutes from Hobart in a semi-rural area in the foothills of Mount Wellington. We have a large bush property with chooks, a small non commercial orchard and large vegetable garden. We have two sons, a 4.5yo and a 2yo. We are looking for help primarily in the veggie garden and orchard, painting, and renovating.

We are an active, social family that enjoys working outdoors, eating ... more inside
