NO HELPERS REQUIRED AT THE MOMENT
In early stages of making our small area of land productive. Attempting to move towards a more self sufficient/lower impact lifestyle. Beautiful, peaceful corner of rural Aberdeenshire sited close to many historic sites including castles, stone circles and distilleries, etc. Have large spacious static caravan for helpers to stay in. Huge variety of tasks to be carried out from routine maintenance and upkeep to various home and land improvement projects. Any helpers with specific skills in these areas greatly appreciated, although help of any kind welcomed.
Bicycles available for borrowing as 3 miles from nearest village. Public transport links fairly good from local villages.

Looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable and interesting helpXers to visit and assist here.

We are a growing community based eco-village in the very early stages, located on a 140-acre south facing farm overlooking Loch Tay in Scotland. We only can accept volunteers who can stay for a minimum of one month. Longer term can be discussed after an initial trial period. A pioneering mentality and sunny outlook is essential.
We are urgently in need of
1) a person who can be in charge of the kitchen.
2) a person who can be in charge of housekeeping.
We run a small Bunkhouse from the farm as onlyincome generating activity.
3) a person who has a vast amount of organic gardening experience.
We are proud to have been awarded 'Gold' by the Green Tourism Board.

IM SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE ANYONE ON AT THIS POINT - PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER IN THE YEAR THANKYOU FOR LOOKING

We are a livestock farm in the remote far NorthWest of Scotland.

We have a walled garden in need of lots of care, a historic church which needs a path and fencing, limewashing, fences and dykes which need repairing Hens which need TLC, two holiday cottages which need change overs helped with and a bothy with potential as a Backpacker stopover. In fact our latest Helpers helped gut the house and we now need joiners, good DIYers and builders to put it into a useable bothy. We have lots of firewood requirements for our woodburning stoves so logging, sticking round the grounds and stacking in preparation for the next winter.

All the Helpxers we have had with us have provided entertaining banter and good company whilst completing a multitude of jobs, little did we realise what a wealth of skills you all have.

We are looking for others willing to join in so pleas... more inside

We live in a beautiful part of Scotland close to beaches and totally rural. I am requiring help with the garden, weeding, planting veg beds and plants. I am also requiring help with decorating, scrapping wallpaper off etc. In return you will have your own room, I will take you for sightseeing tours in the local area and off course feed you. We have dogs, chickens and cats. What I am proposing is that someone comes for a week, works four days in a row then the last two days I will take them sightseeing or they can do their own thing, but I will give you a lift within reason to where you want to go. The cottage is tiny, so you must be able to get on easily with people and not worry too much about having your own space all the time.

Accommodation - We have one twin room available in the middle of our busy family home. We are also happy for you to bring a tent if you prefer. We expect you to eat all your meals with us.
