We have two homes on acres that need help in general maintenance with gardening, cleaning, painting and other jobs. One home has a tennis court and the home we live in has a pool.
We are available to host workers from the beginning of May for a few weeks and then later from late June .
We live in a beautiful area with the best beaches and lakes on the Mid North coast. We have paddle boards, surf boards and Kyaks so you can enjoy your stay. You can paddle board from the property up the pretty peaceful Wallis Creek and out to pelican point into the beautiful Wallis Lake.
John and Julie are the owners of both properties and enjoy meeting new people from all around the world.
It is important to be able to speak English and understand instructions so you understand the tasks to undertake. Nothing is too difficult.
It is an area without public transport so it would be important, but not necessarily imperative to have your own vehicle. We do have a few bikes and helmets so you can ... more inside

Experience farm life in Australia on our beautiful small farm in the Central West of NSW, 12 km from the town of Grenfell. We take people any time. Horse riders are especially welcome.

We can host one person, two friends or a couple. If you are motivated, fun, honest, hard working, love animals and happy to help when needed, we would love to hear from you.

We have 6 horses, a foal, 45 beef cattle (a bull, 3 steers, 21 cows and 20 calves), 6 pet sheep and 5 lambs, 2 dogs, a duck, 4 guinea fowl and chickens. All the animals are generally friendly and well-behaved.

Work varies from gardening to mending fences, feeding and caring for horses, dogs and poultry to mustering cattle on 4-wheel bikes. We like people to feel safe and to work safely.

Our big brick homestead was built in 1917 and sits on a hill overlooking a picturesque valley, among other farms growing wheat, canola, sheep and beef cattle. You will see lots of birds, kangaroos, wallabies and stars. The nearest neigh... more inside

*Interested in natural building? We are currently building a little earth and stone cabin and are at the stage of building a beautiful frame using round wood poles. We need help preparing the poles, sanding and cleaning them up, and strong arms and backs to help us erect the frame. It is an exciting time and we look forward to sharing it with you*

We are a young, creative family of three (Tom -36- Emma -34- and Gwyn -3 years) who are passionate about living close to the earth, as soulfully and sustainably as possible.

We are lucky to have recently moved onto a beautiful riverside property in the Hartley Valley, nestled in the foothills of the spectacular Blue Mountains.
It is a special place, with lovely walks along the river and in the adjoining bush. There are plenty of birds and wildlife; we have kangaroos on our back lawn and you might even see a wombat, platypus or echidna if you are lucky!
We also have a wonderful waterhole for swimming after a hot day's work :)

Hello!!!

We live on 5 acres at beautiful Bingie which is on the NSW South Coast. Now is the time to come and enjoy all it has to offer. It is about 5 hrs drive south of Sydney or a 2 1/2 hours drive east of Canberra. We moved to this coastal paradise 2 years ago and our place is still a 'work in progress' as we renovate to establish Airbnb accommodation and aim to become more self sufficient with our food production.
We are looking for up to four strong, hard working, enthusiastic and friendly HelpXers that can work 4 to 6 hours a day (with 2 days off each week) in exchange for a very comfortable two bedroom cottage next to the main house and evening meals with us. Alternatively you can self cater or you can be the cook at times if you enjoy it. The kitchen will be available for you to get your own breakfast & lunch.

Tasks will mostly be outdoors and involve helping establish the gardens for example moving rocks and dirt, and stacking wood, eradicating no... more inside

Hi, I am Shelley and I live with my two gorgeous kids aged 15 and 18 on the side of a hill on an Island north of Sydney, it's a unique friendly community with many beautiful birds and waterfalls, walks, climbing, cafes and more nearby but NOT ON THE ISLAND, there are no shops here.

Our patch of paradise is 50 mins from city Sydney, this is a water access only house (ferry, water taxi and lifts with us at times across the bay). We can arrange to collect you by prior arrangement from Church Point but not too late at night or in terrible weather (the water taxi runs till 9pm).

We look forward to hosting you for a short stay of a week or two and are looking for 4 hours a day help or 5 hours on weekdays with weekends off - can be flexible (gardening, clearing leaf litter, grocery shopping carrying, wood splitting if able or general house work) in exchange for private room and meals.

If you speak no English and are not a self starter worker then maybe this is not the place for... more inside
