Hi helpers!

Anyone want a lift to Alice Springs in early June?
I have had many helpers staying with me since I joined HelpX and have enjoyed it very much. It has been great fun to meet interesting and friendly young travellers.
I will continue to be a member of HelpX but over Winter I will close my house and move to Alice Springs where the weather is much better.
I will be driving to Alice Springs in early June and I would like to share the drive with a helper. I will pay for accommodation in Coober Pedy and for fuel. It will take two days. I can provide accommodation for a few days before the trip and the same in Alice. Please let me know if you are interested.

I will be back in Adelaide in late August and so I will leave the details below for anyone interested in visiting after then.

My name is Prue and I live in a beautiful home on a small farm in the Adelaide Hills, about 20 minutes drive away from the city. I have a large comfortable house, big garden and a smal... more inside

we have a unique situation, that requires a unique helper or helpers.Ideally a couple or two friends.
We operate a farming property 60km south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Close to beaches, towns and wineries.
We need our helpers to be very independent as we are not always home. Nick 30 works away a few nights per week about 2 hours from our home, and sammy 29 works away for a week at a time and then is home for a week. Our helpers will be in charge of caring for our chickens, gardens, vegetable patch cleaning and other odd jobs. We require 4 hours each day helpx work, 5 days per week in return for food and accommodation or 2 hours each day 5 days per week just for accommodation and you supply your own meals. Our property works best for independent helpers who may be wanting paid work in the local area, as you can work in the local towns, and live with us for helpx. a little like a housemate or house sitter. Nick and I leave a list of the jobs we need completed each da... more inside

Our historic property is not a commercial enterprise but rather a hobby farm where we live, play and grow food for ourselves. We take an organic approach to the land and follow permaculture principles. We love where we live and like to share it with others. Our house is clean and spacious and we eat very well. Tasks would include general garden maintanence, establishing garden and veggie beds, animal care, assistance with small building projects and so on.

We, Chris and Frieda are a Australian-Belgian semi retired couple. We live on 2.5 ha in the middle of the vineyards of the McLaren Vale wine region, south of Adelaide in South Australia. We have chickens for eggs and a dog and a cat for company.
A vegetable garden and the occasional fishing expedition helps us to be as self sufficient as possible. So we are definitely looking for 1 or 2 people . Maintenance and gardening, chainsawing, firewood stacking, gutter cleaning, painting etc. There is work for 1 weeks.
Breakfast and lunch is help yourself from the fridge and pantry. In the evening we can eat together. You will have a room in the house and the bathroom is shared. The ocean with pristine beaches is 10 min drive away. The villages of Willunga and McLaren Vale have great coffeeshops, a farmer's market on Saturday and everything you might need. Adelaide is 1h by train.
