We are a busy working couple on a 27 acre property just out of Albany. We both run our own businesses and have two energetic boys aged 2 and 4. We have many fruit trees and horses along with chooks and a vegetable garden.

We are doing lots of work around the place to improve the property such as removing old fences, building improvements and new fencing. The fruit trees need pruning, cleaning up around them and watering. We are also putting in reticulation in our spare time and gardening. There may also be work with the horses such as feeding, picking up manure and cleaning waters. We would like a few hours a week cleaning the house and sometimes looking after the children. There may also be some odd painting jobs and organising the shed.

We would like people who enjoy the outdoors and are able to work independently. We ask for 2 hours of help a day or 10 hours a week in exchange for accommodation. Minimum of 1 week stay so we have the opportunity to share our lifestyle with... more inside

We run a farm stay where our guests enjoy feeding our animals in the mornings (pigs, baby lambs, calf, rabbits, guinea pigs, emus, goats, kangaroo, water buffalo and more). They can also horse ride and go spotlighting at night looking for native animals.

We are looking for someone who has a friendly personality who enjoys working with people and animals. We would like you to have horse riding experience as we offer escorted trail rides.
You will be staying in your own room in our large house with my husband, myself and two kids (11 year old and 7 year old)

We are looking for someone to help us feed our animals with our guests and escort the occasional horse ride through the nearby forest. Itís easy and fun. We can put you in touch with our past helpers to see what itís like.

If you think you would enjoy taking out horse rides and helping us feed the animals please contact us as we are looking for someone to start at the end of July.

Since we retired from work in Perth we have been living in this lovely, wilder place and travelling when we can, so we enjoy the company of young travellers as well as appreciating your help. We are on 5 acres and run an accommodation business, Lacabane Retreat.

We have established this place all ourselves, taking over 20 years to get to this point. We aim to be totally sustainable and ending up off grid with our own water and growing our own food.

People come here to have a holiday and not leave a carbon footprint. We want to help others learn about what we are trying to do.

We would like some help in the off season to do some maintenance on the property. We provide excellent accommodation in a 2 bedroom self contained house.

Food provided, bikes are available, and we can pick up and drop you off at bus terminal or airport if necessary, but having your own transport would probably be best to connect with the amazing national parks in our area.

We have 2 dogs, so helpers must be dog friendly.Non smokers preferred.

We have a swimming pool as well as a tennis court, and some wonderful places to meditate and enjoy the birdlife here.

Esperance is a... more inside
