Hi there folks! Since you bumped into our profile, here is a description of what we are looking/wishing for :)

We bought our house on January 2014 and moved in two years later. There is still work to do in the garden, where we are growing vegetables following the permaculture principles, and, in case the weather kicks us in, in the basement. We just demolished an old shed/garage in the garden and would like to re-build a smaller one using the same bricks, so we would love to host a bricklayer. Also, we do have a great project for the basement :) If any of you shares our love for wine, we are planning to build a wine cellar in the basement :) The idea is to re-use the bricks we kept in the garden to build shelves to put the bottles on.

So, what brought us here and which kind of people are we looking for? We love to host some travelers from all over the world to help us out. We traveled ourselves during a year (2010-2011) in New Zealand doing woofing and helpex, it was an ama... more inside

We (Hans&Karo) bought a small house in the countryside. We try to live as self-sufficiently as possible, with our small permaculture vegetable garden, our bees, chickens and runner ducks. Although we have poultry and bees, we eat vegan food - we love to cook! We can cater for glutenfree vegan diets.
We live in a very nice, green environment, which is only 40 minutes busride away from Leuven, a beautiful university town. If you are interested in WW II, the village next to ours has a particularly interesting history and small museum.
We have a dog.
We need help weeding, sowing, planting, harvesting, processing the harvest (pickling, fermenting, jam,...). We are still renovating the house and caravan, so if you are a handy or artistic person, you are very welcome! Also if you know how to work with wood or are a mason: we are specifically looking for someone who can help us build a woodshelter and a shelter for the bees, a garden-fence and raised stone gardenbeds. If you know h... more inside

I live in an old farm in a dead-end road. The farm and its surroundings need some repair and some refreshment before any agricultural activity can take place.

It's a quiet and natural place, with some forest, ponds, and old fields, in a village called Schadeck, near Arlon (BE - 10 min) and Luxembourg (LU - 30 min). There are some empty rooms and beds, and a lot of "little work" to do, like preparing some farming or restoring some stuff, so I though this is a good solution.

We (Martyna and Pierre, 28 years old) are starting a project of self-sustainability situated in a beautiful and preserved region of Belgium. We are working on the new vegetable garden at the moment, and will also create some workshops (wood, ceramic, ...), an area of food transformation, and many other things. Actually, since it's a starting project with very motivated people, everything is possible here ! Any helper with good ideas is welcome to make them concrete here.
You'll be hosted in our house, in a private room.

Here is a list of the things we would like to bring to life (remember that we mainly use recuperation materials) :

- a sauna
- expanding our vegetable / aromatic / medicinal garden (any gardening skills will be very appreciated)
- experimenting on food preservation and conservation
- building a living chill zone in the garden (summer small houses, outdoor shower, kitchen, ...)
- a food dryer
- a bread/pizza outdoor oven
- building and taking care of bee... more inside
